Just One Line [ON HOLD]

Part 2

It's been a week since the whole English thing. Was at lunch unfortunately Chris wasn't there but my other friend Hannah was. Noah usually talked with his senior friends at lunch and sat with them but something seemed off. I was in the middle of a conversation with Hannah we were talking about danisnotonfire, our favorite youtuber. When I look over at Noah's table and all the guys that sit there have a shocked expression on there face and the rest of the cafeteria is silent, like too silent. Noah gets up and walks over to my table of all the tables he has to choose he chooses mine to sit at and the only seat available is the seat right next to me.

He takes his seat and the rest of the cafeteria just stares as Noah goes on eating his lunch and as I turn a bright shade of red. The cafeteria returns to normalcy very soon after but while I was talking to Hannah I noticed something being written on my hand it stated 'call me 4**-***-**** - noah♡' before I can react the bell rings and Noah runs off to his locker and I head to band.

----le skip to study hall----

I'm in study hall with my best friend Danny. I'm in the middle of writing a chemical formula for our homework when the p/a system goes off in study hall the person stating

"Ms. Lipstraw could you send Ema to the guidance office for a minute."
"Sure she'll be down soon."
I sigh and ask Danny to finish my homework and he nods and finishes my homework before I'm out of the room.

It's not a very long walk to the office from study hall so within a minute and a half I'm sitting in the counselors office wondering why I've been called down here. I'm thinking of every possible situation that would require office action. The short brunette woman in heels and too much makeup I might add walks in. She starts by saying

"Hi Ema, how are you today"
"I'm alright Mrs. C, how about you?"
"I'm good thanks for asking, now do you know why you've been called down today?"
I shake my head.
"Well the band director contacted me and he was worried about you he thinks you're depressed and it's showing in class."
"Well, Mrs. C I can assure you that I'm not depressed I've just been a little distracted recently."
"Well, alright honey you can go back to class."

I go back to study hall and Danny has started on my history homework. On Fridays in study hall were allowed to talk and Danny asks
"What was that about?"
"Nothing don't worry about it."
"Ok, see ya later." he says as he goes to talk to his girlfriend Paige. Soon after the bell rings and I head to science, a class I have with Danny and Noah. Fortunately I'm partners with Danny in chemistry, but Noah sits right next to me. When I walk in I see a new seating chart I let out an exasperated sigh and walk to my new seat with my new partner Noah.

"Hey, Ems"
"Only Danny gets to call me that Noah, you know that."

I was paying attention in to the teacher when Noah interrupts me by telling me

"You know we have a track meet tonight right."
"Shit, I forgot, I don't even have my uniform."
"Well, damn freshman."
"Shut up, Noah"

I frantically text my mom and tell her to get all my stuff and bring it to the school; she obliges and brings me my things along with food. I quickly thank her run to my locker and put the stuff in it and head back to science. When I arrive the bell rings signaling it's time for break. I grab my things and head to history.

-------le time skip to the end of history-----

The bell rings in 2 minutes and I can't wait to go to the meet today. The teacher is in the middle of his sentence when the bell rings. I rush to my locker and head to the locker room I get dressed for the meet and head outside as the meet is at home. Girls almost always throw discus first so I headed to the disc rings.
