I woke up in a freezing pitch black box. Or more like a cage. I wasn't sure but either way it was like an elevator. Going somewhere.
"Melanie. My name is Melanie." I whispered. My mind was blank but it had five words floating around it.
Madeleine
Mona
Mia
Martha
Minho
Those names were running through my head repeatedly.
A line of light appeared at the top of the box. I watched it get wider and I never looked away, wanting to know where I was and why. An idiotic boy jumped down into the box with me and I had to resist the temptation to tackle him to the ground and beat the living daylights out of him.
"Hey Newt what do ya see?" Someone shouted
"It's a girl..." Newt replied. For some reason he looked shocked, as if he hadn't seen a girl for years. This confused me...
