    "I'm gay," I finally managed to choke out.

My reflection looked back at me with the same horror that was etched on my face. It is so hard to say to myself, let alone to others. This is going to be a long, hard year.

*The next day*

    "What's up bro?" my best friend, Calvin, asked.

I looked at him strange, because I had been daydreaming. He repeated himself and it finally click as to what he had said.

   "Nothing, I was just listening to some "Sleeping with Sirens," I responded rather timidly.

I looked over Calvin's beautiful body, I've been in love with him since we met, which was in pre-school, but we never became friends until now, in our junior year of high school. When he talked to me, I was taken quite off guard, he simply walked up to me, and said we were friends. We have been best friends ever since.

Calvin and I walked to study hall together, we sit by each other and usually do homework together, the teacher doesn't like it but she doesn't say anything. Today neither of us had homework so we just sat and talked. We talked about random things, like people, sports, why I dislike sports. The bell rang and I stopped him, took a deep breath and said it.
