I woke up with my alarm ringing. Ugh. It's Monday again. It sucks. Kalli's also knocking and shouting behind the door.

"Hey sleepyhead! Wake the fuck up. Your alarm's already on the seventh snooze!"

I got my towel and went inside the bathroom and did my ritual. I changed into my uniform and got my bag and went out. The dining smelled of perfectly cooked honey-bacon and pancakes and coffee brewed to taste like heaven. This is why I love Kalli, her breakfasts are always exemplary.

We quickly ate our meal and we used her car to go to school. I swear if people will swarm us later in the lot, I will sue them.

***

I will fucking sue every person who came and waited for her car in the parking lot. Jesus they're about a hundred. This girl's popular all right.

"You do know that I'll sue these fans of yours?"

"Yup. I am your best friend so I know what's going in your head. Don't worry, one word from me and they'll scoot."

"Good."

We got out of the car and as she stepped outside, students screamed her name at the top of their lungs. Bruh, really?

"Hey bitches, stop it okay? My best friend hate loudmouths so scoot."

The students who welcomed her went on one by one. Wow. She could really be a great help. Thank you destiny for letting me be her best friend. I mean it, swear.

"So the rumors were true, Kallista Connor is really back. Tsk," I heard someone said.

I turned my back and saw Hiraeth and his friend.

"Nick Ross, I didn't know you were fond of rumors. As far as my knowedge could take me, you hated them," Kalli sarcastically stated.

"That was then, Kallista, people change you know," the other party fired back.

"Oh really now, Nick?"

"Yes, Connor."

"Well, whatever, Ross."

I could feel the tension between the two. Damn, I thought they were friends? Why are they shooting angry glances at each other.

"Let's go, Nick," Hiraeth said while pulling his arm.

"Hey Raeth! Tell your friend to go back to wherever hell he came from!"

"Fuck off, Connor!"

"Damn! Shut it Nick, will you?"

O-kay. What was that about.

"Sorry about that. I hate that man's guts," she said while turning to me. "Let's go? Calc starts at 8 right?"

I nodded at her question then we syarted walking. I can still see students whispering and huddling to each other. I just rolled my eyes as we passed a bunch of them.

Damn, why is Calc our first subject? First, it has something to do with Math. Second, it's on the opposite building! That's how big this university is!

Tsk.

It's my break already while Kalli is still in her Philosophy class. She said she'll be here in 15 minutes.

"Hey, who are you?" I was about to dig in my lasagna when someone sat at the seat before me.

"A nobody," I replied.

She laughed and that's when I noticed they were a group of 6. This one sitting must be their leader. She looks like a bitch to me.

"Oh darling, Kallista Conmor wouldn't be near you if you weren't something. So tell me, who are you?" She asked once more.

"She's my best friend, got a problem with that?"

Finally! I can now eat peacefully!

"Oh my God! Never thought Kallista Connor would be friends with a.... loser,"

God! I just want to eat!

"Well, Becka Harris, you don't know her too well for you to call her a loser," I stared at the girl then that's when I realized, it was the girl who was submitting herself to Hiraeth.

"Whatever, Connor," she said before leaving.

I was already halfway with my food when Kalli started ranting.

"I hate her," she stated.

"I think you hate almost 95% of this university's population," I said.

"Correction: 98%,"

Okay?

"Who's the two person you don't hate?"

"Simple. You and Raeth," I choked.

What the hell?

"Seriously?"

"Yeah," I drank my water. "Look, Hiraeth may look like a douche---well, he is a douche---but if you get to know him, he's nice," she added.

"Tell me, do you have a crush on him?"

She stared at me with a wrinkled forehead. Then she started laughing.

"No," she answered plainly, still laughing.

She looked like she was telling the truth so I didn't push. Damn, my lasagna's gone!

Kalli and I went again to line-up and order food. Thank you God there's still one lasagna left.

"Give me the lasagna," I heard someone said at the end of the line.

What the hell?

"Here you go, Mr. Parker," the cashier said as he laid the plate on the counter.

Hiraeth simply walked to the front and got it.

"Hey!" I bellowed.

He looked at me.

"What?"

His eyes looked like he was disgusted. I should be the one disgusted. I shouldn't even talk to this guy. Whatever, forget about the lasagna.

I just want to kick this guy's balls.

Then I remembered that he was popular so he can be powerful. Ugh, I need to breathe.

I just rolled my eyes then went off the line and went outside.

"Hey, what was that about?" I heard Kalli ask.

"Tell me again why he's your friend?"

"Well, I told you, he is a 98% jerk, douche and an ass."

God! I swear!
