Not forgotten

Life seem to get back to what was consider normal these days. You spent most of the days in charge of the food now with Thomas gone and you had finally got it straighten out and organized. It was the social spot of the whole community everyone would stop by their at some point in their day to chat or grab something. it was nice. You let the Whole ordeal with Thomas slid to the back of your mind not forgotten but just like a bad memory . The best part of it all was going back to the house at night Daryl was there and as long he was you were just fine.. Even Merle was growing on you.

One evening you were waiting on the person to come over to watch over the food before you headed back the house. You had a bad feeling and you didn't know why everything seem normal. Once you traded places you headed back to your house.. hoping Daryl was already there or at least Merle someone to help you shake these feelings. You opened the door to the house and started lighting candles Daryl ?" Merle " you called out . no answer... your heart started pounding as you rounded the corner into the living room. You gasp as you saw the blood and the body on the floor.. you knew who it was it was your dream coming true You spun around looking for Thomas.. suddenly a knife was at your throat " I will make you happy " Thomas voice said " once we get away from this place " he said " they will see you " you said " Not the way I am going " then everything went black

You groan as you came awake. Your whole head was killing you . You forced your eyes opened you didn't know where you were but it looked like a run down building and you were tied to a pipe laying on a mattress.. " oh great you thought " Then it came back to you.. causing a sob to escape your throat "Daryl ...blood. dead.. you sob and sob until you were to the point of exhausted.. But you knew what you had to do ..You would kill him if was the last thing you did. He came back into the room knife and gun in hand " still crying over your boyfriend " Don't worry he went fast " He laughed and you tried to lunge at him " I am going to kill you " you said.. he put down the weapons and came over and straddle you " I don't think so .. I am going to enjoy you myself.. see myself what he had been keeping all to himself..."he said as he lifted you shirt up off you.. his hand skimming your skin you try not to throw up . Tears were coming now he leaned down and captured your mouth with his you try to struggled with him but he was stronger " he pulled back " if you behave maybe I wont kill you or if I do then it will be fast like Daryl" he said as he reached for his belt. You closed your eyes .. Suddenly there was a gun shot your eyes flew open as you saw a bright red spot begin to grow in the middle of Thomas chest he looked down shock and then he fell over. you looked over and Suddenly Rick and Glenn were next to you. You sob in relief " Thank you so much .."Are you ok ?" Did he hurt you Glenn asked " not much I will live .. But Daryl. He.... you broke down "Megan ?" The sound of your name had your head shooting up in shock he was standing just a few feet looking pale and holding his side.. without thinking you stood up trying to reach him but your legs wouldn't support you and Glenn caught you he picked you up. Daryl frown Rick handed you your shirt and you slip it on. "Come on lets go " Glenn walked past Daryl when you looked back he was putting an arrow though Thomas head with a smirk on his lips.. he turned and slowly made his way over to them." I got her " he told Glenn who sat you down and you gladly turn into his arms and wrapped you arms around him buried your face in his chest.." I thought he killed you.. I thought you were dead.." you sobbed.. as he help you into the car you lifted you head up "What happen ..is merle ok ?" he nodded I guess the .... jumped him while he was working on the bike and he was out cold for a while. then he snuck on me and I didn't realize he had gun.. luckily his aim suck and it just gazed me." he said "When I came to and found out he took you .." he shock his head.. " I never been more scared " he admitted softly so you only would hear. " I though how I never told you " he paused ... looking nervous all the sudden. You leaned forward placing your lips on his real softly then bringing them back just inches you looked into his eyes.." I love you too.." you said he grinned and kissed you more deeply again. you sigh and rested against him the rest of the trip your head on his chest you felt his breathing even out and you guess he was dozing..

All too soon you made it back home you nudge him gentle "Hey were here " you he slowly opened his eyes . " ok you need to looked at " he said.." so do you so more than me you were shot " you replied " fine I will go if you go " you compromised he finally nodded. and you climbed out of the car everyone coming up to asked as you were.. giving you hugs .. you really did feel like family. "You two go get Check out "Rick said you nodded taking Daryl by the hand who looked like he could be knock over by a good win "Your bossy " he said with a smirk." get use to it I have to be with someone so stubborn " you said as you walked into the clinic You made Daryl get checked up first he need stiches he swore the whole time Denise gave him something for the pain then moved on to you .." he didn't ..." she asked as she looked you over " you glanced over at Daryl who was starting at you.. "No he didn't get the chance just hit me on the head good" you said.. "Are you having headache Dizziness spells " Denise asked " no I am just tried " you said "Well you should be fine just take it easy go get some sleep now. You nodded and before you could say anything else Daryl grab you hand and started pulling you towards the house.. " your bossy you said grinning " I am tried don't care " he said you laughed as you opened the door the house. Walking in you noticed someone sitting on the couch but then when he stood up it was only merle you was relief to see he was ok that without thinking you left Daryl side and went over and wrap you arms around his neck giving him a hug " you may be annoying but I so glad that ... didn't hurt you " you said softly you must have surprise him because he stiffen up but then he wrap one arm wound you and hug you back.. will Take someone bigger and uglier than him to take me down." he said and you laugh pulling back. " It will be me if you don't let her go "Daryl said grumpily as he pulled you back to his side. Merle just laughed " no offense baby brother but right now you couldn't even win a fight with yourself .." he said and Daryl glared.. to stop a fight you pulled on Daryl hand ... "We are going to lay down.. " you told Merle ..you led Daryl upstairs he was murmuring someone about stupid brothers . "here let me help you get ready for bed " you said as you slowly lifted the shirt off of him he blinked sleepily down at you "The medicine kicking in ?" you asked and made him sit down so you could help him with his boots .." he nodded ..." never had anyone take care of me before" he said sounding so sad he looked down it broke your heart " well that why I am here now " you said making him look up coming to stand in between his legs. "Why he asked "Cause I love you " you said you leaned down and kissed him softly ..he deepen the kiss for a second.. "love you too " he said.. you smile brushing some hair out of his face " lay down I am going to go and change " you said he nodded you walked into the bathroom and freshen up when you came out just a minute late.. you found he was already passed out stretched out on his back on arm thrown cross where you slept. He was already snoring softly and you couldn't be mad at him . You walked over to the bed and cuddle up next to him laying your head on his chest his arms automatic going around you and within seconds you were out as well.
