"Where are we going?" I asked Percy as he led me towards a giant building.

"This is the Big House. There's something that I think you'll want to see." He replied. We walked past trees, and when we got to the Big House, Mike was standing there, chewing on his fingernails. He seemed fine, until I noticed his... Lower half... I screamed again.

"Mike! You have donkey legs!" I screamed and grabbed Percy's arm. Mike sighed.

"They're goat legs! How many times do I have to say it?" He yelled.

"Don't worry, I thought they were donkey legs too." Percy whispered.

"Why do you have goat legs?" I asked.

"I'm a satyr. You know, half goat, half human."

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I yelled.

"I wanted to but I couldn't!" He replied.

"Oh my god," I said and turned around, "My best friend is a goat. No, no this can't be happening." Percy put his hands on my shoulders.

"Theresa, listen. I know that it's a lot to process, but it's all true." I looked down.

"Sorry. It's just so confusing." Annabeth came towards us.

"Percy, why don't you take Theresa around camp and try to, you know..." Percy nodded. He leaned in and kissed her cheek. What...?

"Come on." He said and led me away from Annabeth and Mike. While we walked, Percy told me about things that happened at camp.

"You've seriously been at camp since you were twelve?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but get this. Annabeth came to camp when she was only seven years old. She came with two other demigods and a satyr."

"Who were they?"

"One of them was Thalia, the daughter of Zeus. And, when they were coming, a bunch of monsters were following them. Thalia sacrificed her own life to save the rest."

"Wait a minute, you said that Thalia is still alive. If she sacrificed her life, shouldn't she be dead?" Percy scratched the back of his neck.

"This is the crazy part. As Thalia died, her father turned her into a pine tree so she wouldn't, you know, actually die."

"So, how is she a person if she's a tree?"

"Well, when I was thirteen, Annabeth and I went on a quest to get the Golden Fleece-"

"You mean, THE Golden Fleece?" I interrupted.

"Yeah. Anyway, someone poisoned Thalia's tree. So Annabeth and I had to go get the Golden Fleece. When got back to camp, the Fleece worked a bit too well. Thalia like, emerged from the tree or something. I don't know, I didn't see it. The point is, she became a person."

"Wow. Who were the other people that Annabeth came with?" Percy's smiled faded.

"The satyr was my best friend Grover. As for the other demigod... Luke Castellan, son of Hermes." Percy said his name with disgust. He looked at me and must've noticed the confused look on my face.

"Luke was a demigod who went over to the Titan lord, Kronos. He was a spy at camp. When I first came to camp, he stole Zeus's master bolt and I got blamed. After that, he tried to kill me. Last summer, there was a giant war between the gods and Titans, and he died."

"Oh..."

"Yeah... And by the way, don't mention the whole Luke thing to Annabeth. She had a little thing for him and she didn't take his death very well." He said the last part quietly. I nodded.
