Chapter 4

 "What do we need to talk about" Tyler said but before I could answer Tyler and I were both knocked. When we woke up we saw Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, and Laura but that's only four of them and Kol is at the party but where is the other one. "Why are we here" Tyler asked "Because we need to use you as bait" Laura said "Bait for what" I asked "We need your friends and this was the only way to get them here" Laura said "But it's not" Tyler said from next to me. The whole time this was happening Klaus was staring at me.

"Klaus why are you staring at me" I asked "Because I turned you into a hybrid but nothing seems to have changed about you" Klaus said "And is that a problem" I said "To me it is" Klaus said "Why is that" Tyler asked "Because she is weak and I can have a weak link in my army to protect me from my mother" Klaus said "So what are you going to do about that" Laura asked "I'm going to kill her" Klaus said "No you're not brother" Elijah said as he untied me and Tyler. Then Klaus just left so did everyone else well except Elijah. Elijah told us to leave and that he is going to talk to Klaus and try to have reconsider killing me but I'm pretty sure it's not going to work.

When we got back to the party everyone just thought we were talking. I was getting something to drink when Kol walks over. "What happened to your wrist" Kol asked looking at me wrist "Oh it's nothing I'll heal" I said "How long does it take you to heal" Kol asked "A few hours" I said "So about earlier" Kol said "What about it" I said "Are we dating or what" Kol said "Do you want to date" I asked "Yeah I do but do you" Kol said "Yeah but we can't tell Tyler" I said "Okay" Kol said and then he got a call. I guess it was important, he had to walk away.

I was standing by the drink and snack bar while the cake was getting brought out so we could sing happy birthday and stuff. Kol came back and stood right next to me. "So we're dating" I said "I guess we are" Kol said "We can't tell anyone right now but later we can" I said "Okay oh and that phone call it was Elijah telling me what happened and I'm sorry that my brother wants to kill you" Kol said "Oh and you can't tell them either because they will try to use you to get to me" I said "Wow obviously you are use to these kind of things" Kol said "Yes I am" I said and then we had to sing happy birthday. Then after we sang happy birthday everyone who wanted cake, had cake.

The party finally ended and I'm glad because I need some sleep. The thing is, is that I want to go to sleep but I can't fall asleep. I keep thinking about Kol. How are we going to keep us dating a secret. I also don't know how long I can hide from Klaus. I'm starting to wonder why did I even come here. I was trying to escape the supernatural world but I guess there is no way to escape it. Well I should get to sleep.

Tyler decided to come in and wake me up and I punched him. We have school today but I really don't want to go. I never want to go to school. Tyler driving us today and the car ride is quiet which is usually a bad thing. "Tyler why are you so quiet" I asked "Caroline and I broke up" Tyler said "Oh I'm sorry to hear that" I said "It's okay" Tyler said. Then the rest of the ride was quiet. When we got to school I saw Kol and Laura heading to the office. Oh god please tell me they aren't starting school. I thought to myself.

If Kol starts coming here I'm screwed. I walked as fast as I could to my first period so I wouldn't bump into Kol. Once I sat down Kol walked in. Damn it. I thought to myself. "So we have a new student his name is Kol" Mr. Black said. "Hi Kol" some people in the class said "You can sit behind Bella" Mr. Black said. "Okay" Kol said as he sat down. Class was so boring and Kol kept trying to talk to me and I didn't like that. The rest of school was boring too. I didn't talk to Kol once so I think I'm doing good.

I decided to stop a the grill for something to eat. When I walked in I saw Klaus and Laura sitting there so before they saw me I turned around and walked out. Before I could fully get out the door I was met by Elijah. "You know it's going to be hard to keep my brother from killing you if you keep showing up around him" Elijah said "Yeah I know" I said "Let's take a walk" Elijah said "Okay sure" I said as we started to walk.

"So let's talk" Elijah said "Okay about what" I said "Klaus is right nothing changed about you since he turned you into a hybrid, why is that" He said "I guess the rules are different from where I come from" I said "Oh so where do you come from" He asked "Beacon Hills" I said "Oh and want to take a trip" He said "A trip, to where" I asked "Beacon Hills we need some answers about you" He said "Okay when do we leave" I asked "As soon as we can" He said "Okay let me get a few things from my house" I said "Okay meet me at the grill at five" Elijah said and then we went to get ready to go to Beacon Hills.

I'm a little scared about going to Beacon Hills with Elijah. I'm ready to go so I'm going to go head to the grill. It's five but I don't see Elijah. Within a few minutes I see Elijah and we get in the car to go to Beacon Hills.
