Chapter 11

I finished packing since I always pack lightly. Ty was still packing. I really don't want to leave but I need to. I need to talk to Derek before Ty and I leave tonight.

I'm waiting for Derek to get home so I can talk to him. I've been waiting for a few hours when Derek finally came home. "Hey Derek can we talk please" I said "Yeah sure what's up" He said "Um Tyler and I have to go back to Mystic Falls today" I said "Why" He asked "This guy who is there will start killing innocent people if I don't go back to Mystic Falls" I said "Why would he do that" Derek asked "I can't really explain, Derek" I said "Well whatever" Derek said upset "Derek what's wrong" I asked "Nothing, I just thought you were coming back for good" Derek said "Derek you know why I went to Mystic Falls, I had to leave because of everything that happened before and after Scott came to town" I said "I know Izzy" Derek said "I know you do" I said. Then Tyler walked in. "Hey Izzy we have to go" Ty said "Okay I'll be out in a few" I said. Then Tyler walked out and I said bye to Derek and went to meet Tyler in the car.

Tyler and I have been back in Mystic Falls for a few days now. I hate how I left things with Derek, I feel really bad. "Bella are you okay" Stefan said from behind me "Yeah I'm fine" I said as I turned to look at him. "Well you don't look okay" Stefan said "I left things pretty messed up back home and I feel really bad about it" I said "Oh well why did you come back so soon anyways" Stefan asked "Klaus he undaggered Kol and sent Kol to get me to come back to Mystic Falls or he would start killing innocent people" I said "Sounds like Klaus" Stefan said "I figured" I said. "Hey so what's going on with us since Kol and awake" Stefan asked "At the moment I just want to not be with anyone, I'm sorry Stefan" I said starting to tear up "I understand and don't cry" Stefan said as he moved closer to me "Stefan don't" I said. Then he lifted my head and kissed me. "One last kiss" He said, then turned around and walked out. I finished unpacking.

I was sitting on my bed when Tyler came in. "Hey Bella can I tell you something" Tyler said "Sure what" I said "When Derek and I were arguing and you woke up wanting to know why, it was because I told him about you being a hybrid and I also told him I am one too" Tyler said "Oh my god Tyler why didn't you tell me and why would you tell Derek I was going to" I said getting off my bed "Bella I'm sorry it just kinda slipped out" Tyler said "How does something like that just slip out" I asked "Derek asked my how everything was doing here and I started telling him and I got carried away" Tyler said "Get out" I yelled and then Tyler's mom walked in. "What is going on in here" my aunt asked "Nothing mom we're just having a disagreement" Tyler said "Well figure it out we have guests" my aunt said "We do" I said "Yes we do now come downstairs" My aunt said "Okay we're coming" Tyler said. Then my aunt left and so did Tyler. I waiting a few minutes then I walked downstairs.

When I got downstairs I saw Derek and Peter here. "Hey guys what are you doing here, in Mystic Falls" I asked "We wanted to see how everything was doing" Peter said "Oh well everything is fine" I said "And also I invited them" my aunt said "Oh" I said "Shall we head to the dining room" my aunt said. Then we all went to the dining room. When we got to the dining room it was set up with food for dinner. We all sat down for dinner.

We were eating dinner when someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it" I said as I got up. When I opened the door I saw it was Elijah. "Oh so you knock now" I said "I'm only knocking because the people you are eating with are in danger, Klaus is upstairs and then Laura, Rebekah, Finn, and Kol are all over the house along with other vampires Klaus has helping him" Elijah said "Okay let me tell everyone else and come in" I said "Okay" Elijah said "I need you to compel my aunt please" I said. Then Elijah compelled my aunt. "Guys we're in trouble, Derek, Peter I'll explain later" I said "Okay" They said all together. My aunt left the house I have no idea where she is going.

Klaus came down the downs and grabbed me, he grabbed my so hard all I could do was scream. Derek, Peter, Elijah and Tyler all came to see what was happening. "Let her go" Derek said "Why would I do that" Klaus said as Rebekah, Laura, Finn and Kol walked in the room "Because I said so" Derek said "Kol why are you with Klaus" I said "Because I don't love you, I never did" Kol said "Brothers, sisters why should you kill her, she did nothing wrong" Elijah said "Because she could kill me" Klaus said still holding on to me. "What do you mean I could kill you" I asked "You are stronger than me" Klaus said "How" I asked "I don't know but you are" Klaus said. Then everyone went silent.

I was quiet until I felt a hand go into my body and grab my heart. All I could do was scream in pain. "Klaus don't" Elijah said "Why she's going to die eventually" Klaus said. Then Elijah was right in front of Klaus and I holding a wooden stake to Klauss heart. "Let go of her heart or I will do it" Elijah said. Then Klaus let go of my heart. Klaus threw me to the ground then crouched down and whispered something in my ear. Then he went over to Peter. "Well since I can't kill your daughter, I'll just kill you" Klaus said. Then ripped out Peter's heart. "Peter" Derek and I yelled together. Klaus dropped Peter's heart and him, Rebekah, Laura, Kol, and Finn left but Elijah he stayed and I was okay with it. I had trouble getting up so Elijah helped me.

I walked over to Peter's body and dropped on my knees. I started to cry and Derek came over to me and hugged me. Even though I hated him, he was my father and I actually loved him a little. "Bella let's get you up to your room" Derek said "What are you guys going to do with him" I asked "I don't know Bella" Derek said "I want him buried next to my mom back in Beacon Hills" I said "Okay I'll get it taken cared of but we need to get you to your room" Derek said. I didn't move so Derek carried me to my room. I didn't feel like changing so I just slept in what I had on. I could tell that Derek hasn't left and I don't think he plans on leaving.

When I woke up Derek was sleeping in the chair in the corner of my room. I threw something at him and he woke up. "Hey Bella how are you feeling" Derek asked " Like my world fell apart" I said "I figured you would" Derek said "Then why did you ask" I said "Because I was hoping you would say something else" Derek said "Well I didn't" I said "I know you didn't" Derek said "When do you have to go back home" I asked "Today, I wish I could stay longer but I can't" Derek said "Oh okay" I said "Izzy I'm sorry" Derek said "Don't be it's none of your fault" I said "I know but I can still say sorry" Derek said. I got up and was looking through my closet for something to wear, when I finally decide to wear a blue and black dress with black flats. Derek left so I could change.

I can't stop thinking about last night. Did Kol mean what he said? Am I stronger than Klaus? Why did everything happen? Could I have prevented this stuff from happening? I have so many questions and I may never get answer to them. When I got downstairs Everyone was staring at me. "You can stop that right now" I said "Stop what" Tyler asked "Staring at me like you are worried about me, I'm fine" I said "Okay we will" Derek said. We were eating breakfast when someone knocked on the door. I went to get the door it was Kol.
