chapter 16

*Jenna's POV(after the plane ride)

I got off the plane and headed for luggage drop off. I pulled my phone out of my bag. 7 missed calls from Louis, 3 from Niall, 2 from Zayn and 5 from Liam. Oh wait, 1 from Harry as well. I decide to send a mass text to all but Harry saying we had arrived safely and what happened with Harry; in case they didn't know yet. I slid my phone back in my bag and walked over to meet everyone.

"I'm hungry." Rachel complained.

"Me too." Calum agreed. The rest of us nodded and headed out of the airport. There were two black vans waiting for us. We all climbed in one after throwing our luggage in the other. Ashton's phone began to ring. "Hello?" he spoke. "MUM! HEY!"

He looked excited and I could tell he was ready to see her. "

"Oh yeah, we were just heading to get some food, but that sounds better!" Rachel groaned and Ashton shot her a shut up face.

"See you in a bit!.. Love you too Mum!"

"Ashton! I'm starv-"

"Girl, Shut up. My mom is going to cook for us all!" Ashton interrupted Rachel.

"Ohhhh.... okay!" She smiled. We all laughed at her stupidity.

"I'm excited for you to meet my family." Ashton smiled putting his arm around me.

"They seem sweet, Ash." I grinned.

"They are going to love you."

"Hopefully." I smiled.

We got to Ashton's house and his family came running out enveloping him in a huge group hug. They all began laughing and some crying with joy. After their hug ended each one of his family members enveloped Calum, Mike, and Luke in hugs. They then turned to me and Rachel and gave us both a huge hug. I felt a light tap on my shoulder and turned around to see a young boy.

"Hey! You must be Ashton's brother!" I smiled.

"Yes, my name is Harry." He returned my smile.

Oh.. "Hi Harry!" I smiled awkwardly.

"This is my sister, Taylor!" He pulled his sister closer and she spun around and smiled at me.

"Hi, I'm Jenna."

"We know" they chorused together. I laughed and headed for Ashton.

"J! this is my mom and my grandma!"

"Hi! Its nice to meet y'all." I smiled.

"Jenna, you're letting your southern show." Crap..

"Oh sorry." We all laughed.

"Okay lets all head inside and eat." His mom announced.

"FINALLY!" Calum yelled before doing some weird handshake with Rachel and they both skipped inside.

"Luke, you better watch out before Calum steals your girl." Ashton warned, loudly, hoping Rachel and Cal would hear.

"EWH!" They both screached. Everyone busted into a fit of laughter.

Ashton put his arm around my shoulder and we walked inside, ready to eat.

(After dinner)

"Hey Jenna, want to go for a walk to the ice cream corner shop?" Ashton asked as I was putting my plate in the sink.

"Sure." I smiled. I walked to the front door and put my sandals on..

"We will be back in a few! Jenna and I are walking to get ice cream!" Ashton yelled as we walked out the door into the warm air.

"I'm glad you came, Jenna." He said whilst we walked along the sidewalk.

"Me too. I'm extremely excited about it." I smiled

"Gives you time to think, yeh?"

"Yeah. Its definitely what I need."

Ashton grabbed my hand as we walked. I'm not sure why I let him, maybe I want us. I am not quite sure. At this point though, it just felt right. I just went with what I felt.

We kept walking in silence, a peaceful silence that I've never felt while being around someone. After about 5 minutes, we reached the small shop. I walked inside and smiled. I REALLY love ice cream, more than any other dessert.

"How may I help you?" The girl behind the counter asked with a smile.

"One second" I smiled. I looked through all the flavors for a few minutes. "Single scoop Cake Batter flavor. In a waffle cone." I smiled.

"Sure thing." She smiled. "Here you go." I took my cone and waited for Ashton. He ordered Rocky Road in a waffle cone.

"I got it." He handed the girl the money before I could protest and we walked over to a small table in the corner.

After we finished our ice cream, Ashton told me he wanted to take me somewhere. I agreed and we walked out of the shop hand in hand, laughing and just enjoying each other.

"Its too long of a walk so lets go back to my house, get my car and drive." Ashton said. I nodded and before I knew it, I was slung over Ashton's shoulder and he was running down the sidewalk.

"Ashton!" I squealed. "Put me down, you freak!" I kicked and squealed, but after about 2 seconds I was laughing. Ashton was running as fast as he could. I hit his back a few times, as I still really wanted to be put down. Next thing I knew, we were on the ground, both laughing to the point that tears were streaming down our faces. I flipped over to face him and he had a busted lip. I stopped laughing.

"Ash, your lip." I stated touching the cut. He winced in pain as I jerked my hand back.

"I didn't even feel it till now." He laughed.

"Ashton it looks bad." I held back a giggle.

"I'm fine come on, I really want to take you somewhere." He pouted.

"Fine, but we are taking care of that first." I smirked pointing to his lip.

"Yes mother." He joked, standing up. He helped me to my feet and we walked back to his house.

Oooohhh. where are they gonna go?! Get excited! big things are coming. I'm going to add a bit of Lachel in the next chapter and other POVs. (: I'll update tomorrow!
