chapter 17.

Once we got Ashton cleaned up and told everyone we were going out, we hopped into Ashton's car and headed to where ever it is that he wanted to take me.

"Ashtoooon." I whined. "Where are we going?!"

"Its a surprise, babe." He smirked.

"Whatever." I pouted as I turned up the radio. Heartbreak Girl was on.

"Oh how cliche." I laughed. I turned it up louder and began to sing along.

"Here's my favorite part!" Ashton yelled over the blaring music as he began to beat on the steering wheel like it was a drum.

The song ended and we both started laughing. I hardly noticed that we had stopped infront of a small opening in a forest right off the road.

"Ash.." I said unsure as he got out the car and began walking to my

side. He opened the door and I stepped out.

"Ashton." I said and he walked towards the opening.

"Oh, just come on." He laughed. "What? You afraid of the forest?" He chuckled.

"Ashton, I grew up in the middle of 14 acres of woods. No, I'm not scared." I smiled as I walked past him.

Once we got to the clearing, I gasped at the view. There were wildly grown flowers everywhere and a small pond in the middle. I noticed that just a little ways off there was a small waterfall.

"Ashton! Its beautiful!" I smiled.

"Its my favorite place to be." He smiled, but it quickly faded.

"Ash, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." He turned away from me."Ashton Irwin, don't you lie to me."

"Don't be weirded out." I shook my head and told him to continue.

"I used to come here with this girl." He paused for a moment. "We were walking along the road after my car broke down. We spotted the opening and got curious. She pulled me here and it became like our very own get away." He smiled.

"We would come here when the guys wouldn't give us alone time. No one ever notices it because its beside the main road. So, we would come here and just enjoy each other. Well, about a year before we left, she told me that she didn't love me anymore. It hurt like hell, but I had to learn to cope. So after two months, I stopped coming here. Its the first time I've been here since then" He looked at his feet.

I stepped closer and pulled him into a hug.

"Its okay Ash, I'm here for you."

"Thank you."

"Ashton.."

"hmm?" He turned towards me.

"Why'd you bring me here?" I asked.

"Because, I- I uhh.. don't know exactly. I guess, I just wanted to share it with you. Its such a great thinking place and I know that's what you need." I smiled.

I smiled back and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you Ash"

"Its not a big deal." He blushed. Why's he blushing? He is just TOO damn cheeky. I love it. I kissed him on the cheek.

"It is to me. Thank you." I smiled again.

"You're welcome." He grinned.

We mainly sat on the grass in the middle of all the flowers and talked, listened, and laughed. I got bored after a while and decided to walk towards the small waterfall. I notices there was a small cave type thing under it where the water wasn't hitting. I found my way behind it with out getting too wet. Ashton joined me after a few of my begging techniques. We stayed under the waterfall for quite sometime. It began getting darker and we agreed to leave, but before doing that, I made Ashton promise we would visit here again.. Together.

Once we were home, I sat on the couch and dug through my purse to check my phone for the first time since we arrived. I realized it was really quiet in the house for it to only be 8. I unlocked my phone and saw 13 missed calls, 6 voicemail, and 23 texts. I checked them and over half were from Harry. The others from some friends and family. I sent a quick mass text to all my friends and family telling them how great everything was. I decided to send Harry a short message as well.

'Hey Harry, sorry I haven't replied. I've been out all day. I think we should wait till we are back in London to talk. I just need time. See you soon. xx -J'

I smiled at my decision. My phone beeped and I saw a message from Harry.

'Jenna, it's Louis-' in the middle of reading, Ashton came running down the stairs.

"We need to get to Cheshire, NOW." He ran back upstairs and back down in a second. I was so confused. He had a price of paper in his hand. I looked down at my phone and continued reading the text.

'Jenna, it's Louis. Harry is in the hospital. No one could get in touch with you or Ashton. The rest of the lads are on the way here. There should be a note around Ash's house. Get here ASAP. It's bad. xx -L'
