To survive is the common goal
We are all to climb the ladder of time
The world scoffs at your grave
Unless your one of the brave
Because for some reason in this world, that makes a difference
But what if we are all ignorant
And what we teach isn't how we live
And we are alive
We don't really thrive
We try to abstain from being arcane
But it doesn't work
And we all go berserk
WE are simply artwork in an endless gallery
Living on flattery
There are 24 hours in a day
7 days in a week
365 days in a year
We all live in a sphere that we call earth
But how much is all this really worth
WE make a hard drive to the finish line
But the prize at the end isn't worth the pain from the chains that are holding us all down.
