Max POV

I want him back...

"Adam." I said approaching him.
"Yes?"
"We are not a thing nor ever will be. I don't love you. You don't love me. Alesa loves you. You love Alesa. Okay?"
"Why?"
"BECAUSE ROSS IS MINE AND IM HIS! YOU'RE GETTING IN THE WAY!!!" I jerked him back as I turned around and walked off. "Ross..." I say leaning on the door frame.
He ignored me and kept staring at his screen. I could see tears building up in his eyes. "I'm sorry... I love you..."
"Stop saying that if you don't mean it!" He yelled.
"But I do mean it." I put my hand under his chin, lifting his head to face me.
"Stop."
"I miss you... Narwhal you are and rightfully will be mine..." I said as I kissed his forehead sweetly.
"Don't lie to me." He said harshly.
"But I'm not, baby." I said lowly as I brought my face closer to his. He blushed but then softly pushed me away.
"Stop it.." He whined. I smirked.
"But you want it."
"N-no I don't..." He looked at me square in the eyes. I sighed and got straight back up and left. Anger flushing inside me. He wants to be like that... I walked to my station clenching my fists.

"What's wrong max?" Jordan asked.
"Nothing..." I said sternly.

The ride home was silent until Tim said something.

"Just get over it! You guys are best friends!" Tim shouted while driving.
"He lied." Ross said pointing to me.
"..." I was mad, he won't even forgive me.

When we got home I went to my room silently and closed the door, forgetting to lock it.
"M-Max...?" A nervous voice said.
"What?" I said running my face with my hand out of frustration. I opened my eyes and there stood a nervous Ross with a tear stained face. "Awe baby... Don't cry..." I soothed.

Ross POV

"Awe baby... Don't cry..." He said as he got up and hugged me. I felt my face heat up.
"Are you going to lie to me again...?"
"I won't, Narwhal... I won't. Because... I love you."
"You always say that... And I always believe you." I pushed him away harshly. I wasn't falling for him again. All his lies...
