Nova got home and I could see something was bothering her.
"Is everything alright, Nova?"
"Ya mom. Everything is just fine." She sat down on the couch and broke down into tears and I knew something was really wrong.
"Nova...." I sit next to her on the couch and she embraces me strongly.
"Mom...I can't take it anymore...Alex is going out a girl tonight and he invited me to go out with his friends and I just really love Alex and I said yes and I don't know what to do" She starts to sob.
"Nova. Maybe you should call Alex and tell him that you like him. Maybe he might feel the same after,"
"He doesn't like me. He's going out with another girl tonight." She gets off the couch and walks to her room. I look at the clock. It's 10 to 7. Nova come out seconds after her break down all dressed up.
"If Alex wants to date another girl, then I'm going to date another guy. See how he likes it." Nova sits back on the couch waiting.
"What time is he going to pick you up?" I ask
"7"
"Alright. Just be back by 10. Okay?" She looks at me and nods. Minutes later, we hear a knock on the door. Nova gets up and answers the door. It was Alex.
