Harry P.O.V.
It was Christmas night during my fifth year of Hogwarts that I felt it. I had camped out in the Room of Requirement to get some alone time. The clock struck midnight and I smiled to myself. Suddenly an intense pain consumed me. I screamed myself hoarse. Blood pooled around me from my open wounds. It seemed that all the thrashing had reopened them. After a while I gave up and just laid there. My breath came in pants and my whole body hurt.
It seemed that I laid there forever until I had enough strength to stand. I though about having a mirror in the room and it popped up out of nowhere. Smiling tightly, I mad my way toward the mirror and gasped. My once wild black hair was now straight and had hints of blonde. My eyes glittered icy blue with ebony flecks in my right eye and ebony rings in my left. Small fangs jutting from my upper lip and sleek wings hung against my back. However, I noticed the strange cat ears protruding from the top of my head. Slowly I turned around and saw the black tail swishing against my legs. Swallowing the screams I took a deep breath, moving over to my trunk I dug around for my invisibly cloak and pulled it on.
I walked out of Hogwarts and headed for Hogsmeade. I never noticed the trailing men behind me. I reached Hogsmeade and walked straight for the shrieking shack. It took only moments to reach. I walked inside and over to the fireplace, where I grabbed a handle of floo powder that I kept there in case Sirius came to visit. Swallowing thickly, I tossed the powder into the fire and stepped inside. "Gringotts." I was whisked away before I could see the men following me.
Stepping out of the fireplace, I walked over to the closest desk. "Excuse me, but I'd like to speak with someone about my inheritance." I spoke gently to the goblin behind the desk. He looked up startled but nodded. "Follow me." I nodded and he lead the way down a deserted hall. "Manager Ragnok, Mr. Potter has come to clear his inheritance." "Send him in Glordok." The rough voice came from the other side of the door "It would be much easier if we could see you mr. Potter." Slowly, I removed the cloak and set it over a chair.
"We will start with the blood test then go to the inheritance test." "Yes please." I replied "I'd be very glad if I knew who I was." Ragnok handed me a knife and slid a piece of parchment across the desk. "Two drops of blood will suffice." I pricked my finger and allowed two drops of blood to hit the parchment. It glowed silver before writing began to appear.

I slowly lowered the paper and stared at Ragnok. "Is it true?" My voice cracked and broke as I realized my whole family has been trying to kill me. Tears filled my eyes but I blinked them back.
Ragnok P.O.V.
I sat silently letting child work through the blood test papers. At his sharp gasp I looked at him. "Is this true?" His voice cracked with pain and fear as he trembled lightly. "Yes. Blood never lies." I replied sadly "They are your family." "Can we do the inheritance test please?" He asked softly, setting aside his birth certificate. I nodded and handed over another piece of parchment. "2 more drops of blood."
