Chapter 5: Restoring Tommy

Freak/Tommy P.O.V.

I sat on the scratchy bed, listening to the voices around me as I stared at the blanket. "Tommy?" I immediately looked up at the boy from earlier. "Hi." I waved sadly. "Don't worry. You'll be back to yourself in no time." "You have an answer for me?" "Yes I do." He smiled sadly "DO you have any strange memories about a black-cloaked man?" "Sometimes I see it in my dreams." I whispered. "He took you from us and gave you to your uncles and aunt. We could never find you. After they died, the stranger sent you to your aunts' sister and her husband. We always tried to find you but he kept you from us. When you came here at age 11, I tried to befriend you but someone else pulled you away. They kept us apart and manipulated you into hating me. Last christmas, you finally found out the truth and we found you. We brought you home and lived as a family for 5-6 months. Then someone attacked me, you came to find me and they hurt you. They put you in a coma and now you're like this." "So is that why you never came for me?" "Yeah. I'm sorry baby brother." "It's okay. Just promise me you'll never leave me." "I promise. I love you." "Love you too big brother." I held out my arms to him. With a smile, he clambered up beside me and hugged me tightly. He held me to him as we cuddled on the bed, slowly falling asleep in each others arms.

Lucius P.O.V.

 I clenched my hands into fists as I was shoved from the pensive and into a chair. Looking over, I saw Sev with tears on his face. His looks began to blur and I realized I was also crying. Wiping away the tears, I pushed out of the chair and drew Sev into my arms. I buried my fangs into his neck for comfort as he did the same to me. After a few minutes we both pulled back and shared a soft kiss. "Let's go see the twins." Sev said softly. With a nod, I let him lead me from the room. We walked over to the curtain and drew it back. A smile spread across my face when I saw the twins cuddled in bed. Draco was curled around Thomas as though protecting him from the world. 

We both looked at them before leaving them to rest. Instead we sought out Poppy who was changing the sheets on a bed. "Poppy?" She looked up at us and sighed. "I've found a way to help Tommy." "Tell us please." Sev begged. "An aging potion. It will age him up a year every week. His mindset will change every week to keep up with his body. It will take 9 weeks to restore him to the age of 15. In those 9 weeks you will have a chance to change his memories and create ones where he is loved and cherished. Keep Draco out of class and have him help. Tommy will need his twin and both parents to grow up believing he is loved." "When do we start?" Sev asked "Wait, I've got to brew the potion first." "No you don't." Poppy smiled "You left a box of them with me for incidents with stray curses, mixed potions or joke products from Zonko's and the Weasley twins. I can spare 9 vials for the family. I suggest you get your family out of Hogwarts while this is happening. Who knows what the other students will do if they find him like this." "We'll take him now." I unwrapped my arms from around Severus  "We'll wake Draco and then floo to Riddle Manor. It's time Tommy was reunited with his family." Sev nodded and headed off to wake Draco.

2 months later-Saturday-4:25 a.m.

Tommy P.O.V.

The pain ended after a few minutes and I stared at the decorated ceiling. "Where am I?" "Tommy!" Dracos' scream erupted in my ear making me scream in his as he crushed me in his arms. "Da!" Dray screamed at the same time I yelled "Athair!" "Draco/Tommy screamed in my ear!" We both hollered as I followed Draco through the hallways to a library. "Draco. That's enough screaming." Da's voice came from the love seat. I giggled and hit Dray's shoulder. "Yeah Draco, that's enough screaming. You should listen when Da tells you something." "You were screaming to." "Can't prove...." "Tommy!" Everyone in the room was staring at me and I flinched. With wide eyes, I crashed into Dracos' arms and buried close to his chest. "Scared." I whispered into his shirt. I heard Dray growl as his arms tightened around me. "Oh Tommy. I'm so sorry, childe." Da said coming up beside me "I didn't man to scare you like that." "What happened and where are we?" "This is Riddle Manor." "Grandfathers' home?" "Yeah." Dray supplied, "But what happened? All I remember is the cloaked figure standing over Dray, then another grabbing me from behind before they forced me to swallow something." "We don't know." Da sighed "Blaise found the both of you when he went out searching after you didn't return to the dorm." "So they got away?" "Yes." Da nodded "Now I think it's time you met the family." 

He coaxed me from my hiding place to reveal the strangers in the room. "I think you know a few of them." Da said gently. "Yep. Aunt Bella, Uncle Lysander, Padfoot, Mooney, Uncle Rab, Uncle Rod, Izzy, useless rat, Theo, Blaise, Pansy, thug 1, thug 2, Aunt Cissa, Uncle Reg, and Aunt Anastasia. Then there's Bill, Charlie, Fred, George and Nev; my brothers. There's Luna and Ginny who are my sisters....Where's grandfather and Athair?" "Come with me." Da steered me from the room before I could grab onto Dray. As we left the library feelings and thoughts assaulted me and I whimpered. "Tommy!" Dray appeared in front of me and wrapped around me. I held tightly to him as we walked through the manor. We soon came to a wooden door, which da knocked on. "Enter." The door opened to reveal a study. 3 men sat inside and watched da warily. "Athair! Grandfather, Uncle Fen!" I lunged for my grandfather and hugged him tightly before hugging my uncle. After, I crawled into my Athairs' lap and snuggled into his chest. "Hello Tommy." Athair smiled down at me. I smiled at him, my uncle and my grandfather before burying back into his chest.
