I could feel someone watching me, the Underground was deserted but I had that feeling that someone was around, watching my every move. I suddenly heard footsteps behind me, my breathing quickened and I felt like at that moment I would be killed. I turned around only to find a drunk man walking up to me. I know everyone says don't judge a book by its cover or don't judge someone just because they look bad but I had a feeling that something wasn't right here.

"Now, whats a pretty, young girl like you doing here all by yourself?" He slurred.  I started to panic so I turned around to walk away. He grabbed my arm and I started to scream, shout, doing everything I could trying to get someones attention,

"Now, I'd advise you not to do that again if you want to get back home... safe." He whispered into my ear. I started to wimpier and  mutter the word, please. Shivers started to think that he was going to kidnap me. I saw someone coming and the man who was trying to kidnap me pulled me into the shadows I tried to scream but his hand was covering my mouth. As soon as the man walked close to us, I kicked the kidnapper in the fragile area and ran into the strangers arms.

"P-please help me." I said to the stranger. At first he looked really confused but as soon as he saw the drunk man coming after me, we both ran out of the Underground. We ran for what seemed like hours but in reality it was just over half an hour.

"Are you okay?" The man asked me as soon as we stopped. I nodded.

"S-sorry." I said. Tears were rushing down my cheeks like a river.

"Hey. Don't cry! He's gone now. Do you want me to call anyone for you?" The man asked me. His accent seemed so familiar.
I shook my head, I don't have any family or friends apart from my so-called best friend who ran off with my ex-boyfriend.

"Could you tell me your address so I can take you back to your home?" He asked politely. I knew from how he was acting that he was not going to hurt me.

"I- I don't h-have a- a ho- home." I said before crying again.

"Hey. What did I say? Don't cry!" He said pulling me into a hug.

"What's your name?" He politely asked.

"A-Alex." I said looking up at him only to find the person I fell into this morning. Oh.

"Hi again!" He laughed.

"Because I fell into you earlier, I will do you a favour and you can sleep at mine for a few nights. I'm sure my flat-mate won't mind! You can sleep in the guest bedroom!" He said smiling at me. I looked at his face for a minute, he was genuine. I have nowhere else to go so why not? I wiped my eyes and nodded.

"Thank you." I said hugging him.

"No worries. Let's get home now." He said leading me to his apartment. I had a real smile on for the first time in ages!

"This is our flat building!" Dan said as we stood outside the big, tall building.

"What's your flat number?" I asked.

"You mean our and number 57." Dan said. I pressed the little button to summon my peasant also known as the elevator.  I hoped in, not literally, and as soon as Dan came in, I pressed the button so we could go to our floor.

"So..." I said looking at my feet awkwardly.
"So..." He replied.

"Sorry, I'm just really socially awkward." I said smiling at him a bit.

"Nice to know I'm not the only one." He laughed.

"Jeez this is awkward." I said laughing.

"I am very jelly of your laugh." He said before the elevator doors opened. As soon as they opened I said,
"Step aside peasants." Dan laughed and I did the same.

I ran up to flat number 57 and leaned against the door waiting for Dan to catch up.

"Pfft. Slow coach." I muttered before falling through the door. Well more like someone opened the door which I was leaning on causing me to fall into the person who opened the door. I screamed as I fell causing the person who opened the door just to stare at the random person who fell into their flat.

"Alex! Are you okay?" Dan asked running up to me.

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry." I said standing up.

"Dan? Care to tell me who the girl is that just fell very gracefully into our flat?" The random dude, probably Dan's roommate, asked.

"Phil. This is our new roommate, Alex. She didn't have anywhere to sleep so I said she could crash, literally, at ours for a couple of nights. Phil's mouth formed an 'O' shape.

"Oh, okay. Hi, I'm Phil! I will just go and make some tea for you!" He said kindly.

"Oh, you really don't have to. I literally just fell into your flat." I said.

"It's okay. I'm gonna make us all some anyway!" He said before scurrying off to make some very British tea.
