Tim Drake- Advice

Tim's good with computers. He's good at hacking into them, eliminating a virus, falling asleep on them.

Technology, he can handle. But dating? Damian had been the first to tell him straight up that he's hopeless in that department. Second, it was Jason.

Even Dick had mumbled out something about Tim not being very skilled at, and his exact words, "seducing the one you want to do the do with".

Cliché as it was, he's fallen in love with you, his best friend.

Now, it's safe to say that he didn't mean to fall in love with you. But you're always there for him, bringing coffee and the large
marshmallows he likes to snack on during a hack. You're reliable and trustworthy and Tim had had somehow dragged you down with him during a sleep-deprived daze into his bed and woke up with you in his arms, and that's the reason he's here today, trying to get love advice from the other members in the family.

Except, they're not even helping. Jason is laughing and Damian is scowling, Dick is grinning and Alfred is standing by watching with his eyebrows raised.

"I don't know what else to tell you," Dick rubs the back of his neck. "Maybe Jason would like to offer up another piece of advice."

Jason holds his breath and looks at Tim, but it seems that the mere sight of his red cheeks and hunched shoulders is enough to send him into another fit of laughter until he's coughing.

"This is a waste of my- Grayson, let me go. It's obvious that Tim will not succeed in pursuing (Y/n) because he has no talent in 'seducing the one you want to do the do with', am I correct?"

Jason's stopped laughing and Dick's let go of Damian, who's now stomping out of the room, sending a final glare at Tim before disappearing behind the corner.

Tim groans, dropping his face in his hands. "I knew I shouldn't of came to you guys. You're all hopeless with relationships."

"Hey, now that's not-"

Jason stops Dick right there because hey, Dickie, how many times have you bee engaged?

And so, Tim sets off without any clue on what to do about his feelings for you when hours later, you show up in his room, bags of jumbo marshmallows in one hand and coffee in the other.

His fingers pause on the keyboard as you set the coffee down, popping open the marshmallows and lay one on the top of his hand.

"(Y/n)?"

"Yes?"

"C-Can I.. tell you something?"

You watch as he closes his computer slowly, taking the marshmallows and pulls at it nervously.

"Oh my god," You cover your mouth and Tim jumps. "You have diabetes now. I've brought you too many marshmallows and now you're diabetic. Tim I'm so-"

"No, no," He laughs, setting down the deformed lump and swallows. "I, uh, it's about.. us."

"Us?"

"Y-Yeah. Us."

"I think I know where you're going with this."
Tim grips his jacket. "You do?"

You nod, finger tapping on your chin. "Yup. And don't worry, Timmy, I've got you covered."

"Wait, what-?"

"You're dating someone, right? And you need love advice?"

Tim blinks and doesn't realize you're holding his hand until you shake it. He fights a blush as you excitedly pull him to his feet.

"I'm right, aren't I? I can tell. Aw, you're blushing! Haha, maybe I am a detective after all-"

Tim, finally, decided to take the advice from Jason earlier when he had said to just go for it, to kiss you first and explain later.

So that's what he did and he expected you to push him away and run out of the room, not to pull on his collar to bring you closer, resulting in both losing your balance and tumbling to the floor.

"So, uh," Your complexion matches Tim's as he awkwardly tries to not picture how much of his body is pressed against yours. "The advice was for.. me?"

He nods quickly. "I asked the others and Jason had said to-"

The door bangs open and said man himself runs in, Dick and Damian behind him.

"I heard a noise," When Jason sees you there on the floor, Tim hovering above, he's back to ugly laughing and has to be dragged out of the room by Dick. Damian closes the door with narrowed eyes.

"Well," Tim sits up, pulling you with him. "If that wasn't the most embarrassing thing in my life, I don't know what was."

"Which part? When they came rushing in or when you face budded me with your lips?"

"Face budded? I thought that's how.. but that's.." Tim fumbles to explain Dick's kissing advice when you lean closer, his train of thought derailing.

"Were you trying to kiss me, Timothy Drake?"

"..Yes. No. No. That was just.. practice?"
