Previously on EFTBP

The ground shook and the trees' leaves swayed unnaturally. They turned around, having their stance. Weapons were brought out, while hisses were heard.

In front of them, a huge mob of corpses were coming their way, hungrily. To their backs and sides, corpses were also attacking them. Shimmer's eyes widens in horror, while Breck was in front of her, showing his protectiveness.

Sandra gripped Nate's hand and they both looked at each other.

"Don't let go"

Nate said, fearing that Sandra might be separated from him, again. Sandra nodded.

 CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Michelle's limbs were shaking due to exhaustion. Timmy placed her arms around Michelle, supporting her weight. Michelle nodded in appreciation and they continued on walking, slowly.

Grant looked around; ready to help others if necessary.

Those things that happened to Paul, will it also happen to them? Just by the thought of it, fear rose inside him and his hands began to shake a little bit. He closed his eyes, trying to calm himself, while sweats poured down from his pores. He shouldn't be feeling this way, at this time, but it was inevitable.

Their best fighters weren't there with them as of that time. Who'll defend them when corpses attack? Could he handle it just by himself? I mean common, most of their companions are women. How the heck could they defend themselves from it?

Questions bombarded inside his head and this kept him from continuing on his walk.

"Grant? You okay?" Casey asked him, while she held on his hand. His face softens and his mind calmed. He nodded to Casey and his lips tugged into a smile.

"I'm fine kid. Don't worry"

He placed his hand on top of her head and she smiled back.

 "Good"
