Elemental (Cisco Ramon)

Chapter 1

Iris and I run into Barry's lab.  "Hey!  We are ready to see this atom smasher smashing."  Iris says confusedly.  She looks over to me for an answer on the actual name. 

"Particle accelerator."  I tell her.  She lets out a sigh and nods.

Barry looks up from his computer.  "There was a shooting today."  He walks over towards his map of the city and pins something onto it.  "Your dad needs me to process some evidence.  Which means I don't know if we're gonna be able to make it to Star Labs."  He walks away, with his shoulders slumped.  I follow him with Iris close on my heels.  He walks over to his computer again and starts typing something in.  I look around and I notice the giant thing of fries sitting right beside it.

"Dude, seeing this thing turn on is like your dream."  I state while shoving a few fries into my mouth.

"Your sad little nerdy dream."  Iris adds.  "Plus we both canceled dates for this."  Iris steals one of Barry's fries and I hum in agreement.

Barry looks over at us eating his fries, looking a little insulted.  "Hands off my fries."  He acts like he is really annoyed and pulls them away from both of us.  "Unbelievable."  He shakes his head.

Iris gives him an "are you kidding me?" look.  "I'm stress eating over my dissertation.  We started selling cronuts at Jitters, I ate two today.  If I don't graduate soon, I'm gonna be more muffin-top than woman."  She eats another one of the fries that she stole from Barry.  Barry and I both chuckle.  Iris could not get fat even if she wanted to.

Barry quickly looks her up and down.  "You look amazing."  He smiles.  Ugh! Why wont he just tell her how he feels.  The tension is to much!  Iris just looks down and picks up one of Barry's magazines.  "What's your excuse, Cami?"  He looks over to me.

"Ever hear of being hungry?"  I ask matter of factually.  Barry just rolls his eyes and I lightly punch his shoulder and he jumps a little in pain.  "Come on Bare, I didn't hit you that hard."  Barry mumbles something that sounds rude under his breath.  Now its my turn to roll my eyes.  "Wuss."  I joke.  He glares at me playfully.

Iris walks over and holds up the magazine.  It has a picture of the particle accelerator on the cover.  "What is so important about this particle accelerator anyway?"  Barry just looks at her shocked that she does not know.  Oh God Iris, what have you just gotten yourself into?  Barry starts to go on about Harrison Wells and the particle accelerator.  I have had this talk with him a couple times already so I just walk away and steal a couple more fries before going to look at the board that we have been using to investigate mom's murder and prove that dad is innocent.  I can hear some of the things that he is saying.

I walk over to him and put my hand on his shoulder.  "You have got to get yourself a girlfriend."  I say just as Joe walks in.

"Hey, leave him alone, he's working."  Joe looks at me and Iris.  We both greet him and he pulls me in for a hug, which I return.  Barry's computer beeps.

"Hey, your testing is done."  I state and Barry walks over to the computer.  He then explains what he found out to Joe.

"So since Barry figured out your poop problem," I start as I get up and stand next to Barry.

"How about letting him go to Star Labs?"  Iris finishes while wrapping her arm around Joe's shoulder.  Joe gives in and Iris giggles.  Barry bursts out of his seat and thanks Joe and we all run out.

We are all walking side by side.  Barry is in the middle and Iris has her arm linked with his.  Then she starts to question both of us on our trip to Star City.  I go to talk but Barry cuts me off before I even begin.
