Back at the apartment...

•Jaylen's pov•

After sky came and picked me up from my moms, neither of us felt like cooking so we decided to stay in, order some take out and watch movies for the rest of the night.

Ding dong

"That most be the food!" She exclaimed.

"Well who else would it be?" I chuckled.

"Shut up and answer the door. I'll pick the movie!" She hollered from the living room.

Opening the door...

"Hey man! You ordered take out?" The delivery boy asked. He couldn't have been no older than 18.

"Yeah man!" I said taking the food from his hands. "Sky, come grab the food so I can pay the man!" I shouted.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" she said as she turned the corner coming to retrieve the bag. I couldn't help but notice the delivery boy's eyes pop out of his head as she came to my side.

She didn't even notice that he was full out gawking at her until she looked up. She instantly started to blush, which encouraged him more.

"Damn, you look so good!" He said licking his lips. WTF?!?!

This instantly caused my arm to snake around her waist and pulled her onto my lips aggressively. Of course sky was caught off guard but once she knew what I was trying to do she pushed me away.

"I'm gonna go set up the food." She said walking away from me in disgust.

"Wow man, you sure know how to treat your girl. Might wanna watch it before you lose her." He said with a sly smirk on his face.

"Wow man, you might just wanna shut the fuck up before you not get paid for the food!" I said fuming. Who the fuck does this boy think he is, try to tell me how to treat my girl.

"Whatever man, the total is $25.56. Not including the tip." He said with an attitude.

I paid for the food and right as I was about to close the door he had the audacity to ask me "what about the tip?" Are you serious...

"What tip?" I said slamming the door in his face.

"What the hell was that sky?" I said throwing my hands in the air.

She looked taken aback for a second then quickly recovered.

"That's what I wanna know?" She yelled just as loud.

"That guy was totally flirting with you right in front of me and you just let it happen!"

"I just let it happen? I just let it happen! You let your testosterone get the best of you. I didn't even have time to react! I left the room because I didn't want to embarrass you."

"Embarrass me? You did that when you didn't kiss me back! You just left me there looking like a grade A asshole!"

"Well guess what? You were being a grade A asshole!" She shouted, plopping down on the couch in frustration.

"Look, babe-"

"Look babe nothing!" She interrupted me, rubbing her head in frustration. "Jay, I don't wanna argue with you,"

"Me either babe-" she put her hand to stop me from talking.

"I don't wanna argue with you, especially since I'll be going back to work in a few days." She sighed looking at her feet.

"I know-wait what? You're doing what?"

"I'm going back to work in a few days." She stated plainly.

"Yeah, I heard you! Why the hell are you going back to work?" I questioned as my tone increased.

"Moo moo, don't start-"

"Don't moo moo me!" I growled. "What are you going back to work for so soon?" Asked becoming more agitated by the second.

"ENOUGH!" She yelled. "We are not going to go there tonight! We can talk about this in the morning but as of right now you are going to shut up, come over here and hold me!" She fused with her arms open waiting for me with a pouty look on her face.

She is so damn infuriating! She always has to work! Why! It's such bullshit!

"You want my arms to fall off?" She questioned with a huge smirk across her face.

She's good! She's damn good. Knowing good and well that she's going to get what she wants because she knows I can't stay mad at her.

Inching closer and closer to her, I can feel my anger dissolving. Once I'm finally in her embrace, I can't help but relax and come completely vulnerable to her touch.

"I don't want you to go." I whine into the crock of her neck sounding like a complete child but I could give a damn. I love her and I don't want her to go.

"I know babe, I know." She whispers while rubbing my back up and down.

~2 hours later~

Me and Sky are stretched out across the couch. Shy is asleep with her arms are wrapped securely around my waist as she lays on top of me. Light snores escaping her soft, pink, plump lips.

I can't help but stare at my beautiful sleeping beauty. My heart literally starts to speed up as she wraps her arms tighter around me. Like she doesn't want to leave, just as much as I don't want her to go.

I reach over and cut off the tv. Trying my absolute best not to wake up Sky, one arm wrapped securely around her her waist and the other around my head.

Watching Sky sleep reminds me of what my mother said to me earlier today. 'You always have a choice, jay.' Sighing, I rub my face.

"If only it were that easy." I mumble to myself.

Feeling my eyes become heavy, I kiss Sky on the top of her head, wrapping both of my arms around her securely as if she could slip right through my finger tips.

"Please don't go." I mumble, as I fall into a deep sleep.
