Chapter 2

His lips felt like heaven on my lips . But I knew I couldn't help anyone one I would only hurt them , I pushed on his chest and jumped up and grabbed my bag and ran out the door I looked back to see jake with a confused look on his face .  I ran to my bike jumped on it started it and rode to my apartment which was only a block away . Once I ran upstairs I begin to cry I knew I couldn't do this I couldn't let people in I've always been okay with not making friends then this shit some bad boy showing up and messing up everything I've worked so hard for . I was a fighter and I refuse to let my walls down that easy . It was still only 8am .. I knew the school here started at 830 so I grabbed a notebook and a pencil and walked to my bike and got on and rode to this school only 6 months till I graduate I keep thinking and now it's town to in roll in this new school . I walk in the doors everyone was in class , it was a huge school so I knew I could blend in . I walked to the office she was a young lady with blonde hair who looked happy to be here . " new student ? " the lady asked , yes I'm moving here from Florida. The lady asked for my name I told her what she wanted to know before long I was in the system and she handed me everything I needed and I walked to my locker put in my notebook and look to see what my first class was it said her name was miss lock . I looked  around till I finally found a room with her name on it I walked in , and here it goes all eyes on mine . No one knew me here I was a boxer in Florida and no one here looked like they cared about a boxer, I was looking around when she asked if she could help , oh yeah I'm new here and well looks like ur gonna have me for English I said with a attitude I never liked school , I was always in trouble and well I didn't care. She was like what's ur name , my name is ruby I said as I walked to the back of the room and sat in the very back seat . I looked around as she begin to teach but I wasn't listening I knew everything they teach I ace every test I take , as I was thinking I seen him the boy from the gym he was looking at me and he smiled then mouthed to what the hell ? Why you run out ? I looked away . The bell rang after what felt like forever and I ran out the door but I guess I was looking down and I bumped into someone and I said I'm sorry and looked up to see jake in a white tee-shirt and sweatpants and his lip ring on display and damn he was hot . He is like you kinda came in at the end of the day so that's the bell . Umm yeah I gotta go in sorry I said as I jumped on my bike with people looking at me i seen People looking so I gave them a show I started my bike riding a wheely out of school with people looking at me like i just did the impossible. That when I pulled up to the gym I changed and started hitting the punching bag that's when I thought maybe since I was 18 I could fight and if my past does Come  back to get me I can handle it this time I'm not 15 anymore. That's when I made up my mind I was gonna show everyone who I was , beside being low key is no fun .
