I continued hitting the bag but this time I had a smile on my face the whole time . I stopped and walked to the sign up sheet hung on the wall, I put my name on every page not caring if I was fighting pros , guy or girls and I signed it like I sign everything Ruby with a tiny ruby by my name . I seen the first fight was tonight against a girl that just started new I could easily win so it was my time to get on the map. I trained for a few hours and took a break eating a snack bar. As I sat down taking my break the one and only Jake walked up to me with that million dollar smile , " so I see your fighting tonight? " he asked, he sat beside me listen about yesterday it can't happen again ." Why not you enjoyed it I could tell" he said looking away . Awe he is shy but I know. Relationships only end in pain and it takes my focus off training and I don't have time for that . I looked away acting as if he didn't say a thing . I have a half a hour till the fight so I should make my way down town to the fight . " you will get lost just let me take you " he looked at me trying to see what I will say . I have to run to my apartment , so I'll pass thinking he would drop it now . I'll run you by there and I knew I wasn't getting out of this . Okay fine let's go as we pulled up to the apartments after I told him where they are he said that he lived here to his apartment number was 683 that is right beside mine ! Well he said I'm gonna run in my apartment be right back he says as he walks in his and I open my door to see that I still haven't got any new clothes I'm just glad that the apartments come with furniture in them. Well I changed and put my hair up grabbed my month piece and was ready to go I walked to see him leaning against the wall and I knew I had to win tonight, I never lost and for some reason this boy being near me makes me want to do better then I usually do . I walked past him to see what he would do he looked at me as I glanced back from over my shoulder and well we stared at each other and before I knew it he was in front of me , he pushes me against the wall and pinned me there connecting our lips for the second time I didn't even think I just moved my lips with his . When he pulled away I hated losing the contact from our lips , " let's hope you fight as good as you kiss" he said looking at me . Come one let's go he said grabbing my hand I knew relationships was wrong but this one felt so right . What wait we are not a thing and never will be I need stop I don't know anything about him . I removed my hand and jumped on my bike , " what are you doing ?" He asked, I'll meet you thereI said and rode off leaving him with another confused look on his face.
Once I made it to the ring I jumped in knowing what to do knowing I was about to win . " IN THIS CORNER WE HAVE RUBYYY!!" He yelled in the mic . I looked around my eyes landed on jake my heart was pounding , DING DING I turned and faced my opponent.
