Candle flames in the dead of night, remind me of you.
The flickering of the light, goes back and forth.
Burning so bright and giving the room aglow.
The flames remind me of now you use to make me.
You use to make me feel so alive.
You knew how to set flame to my eyes.
Every touch...
Every kiss...
Would make my skin aglow.
Giving me a type of beauty that was unknown.
But like a candle flame,
There's always someone to blow it out.
And that's what you did.
You set me aflame,
Only to put me out.
You never intended on lighting yourself.
You only wanted to cause me pain.
