It's just a battle flag. It was made 'racist' by hate groups such as the KKK. So really there's no real reason it should be considered offensive
It could just be bc I'm from the south and I've grown up in a very southern family (I'm very open minded tho) but really I see nothing wrong with it being hung up in places ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
