Lunchroom Disater

It was just a regular Wednesday in cafeteria. All until Airn decided to throw some food at a preppy kid.

Airn had dark brown hair and blue eyes, tall and slim, a kind of guy girls would fall for. Except, for he was a bit of a, troublemaker. Once the first shot was fired, there was no going back.

I was thinking about the big final for English, shutting everything else out. Airn decided to put some water on my pizza (while I wasn't paying attention), and when I took a bite, he just sat laughing his head off.

"Yea yea very funny..." I said hoarsely, still a bit distracted.

Airn started coughing. He had chocked from his spit and laughing. "You didn't even notice man! It's great!".

I didn't add to his comment, I kept on staring at my food, thinking. It was a good five minutes before I heard Airn scream, "FOOD FIGHT!!!".

Right then and there I knew I was a goner.

However, I was not one of the people to duck underneath the tables for shelter. I decided to join in. Turns out all of the preps were screaming and freaking out because Airn had thrown some food at one of them.

"It's ruined!!! Ruined!" A blonde girl in a checkered dress was screaming, it looked like she was about to cry! I tried with all my might not to start laughing, I didn't want to be on these guys bad side.

Someone slapped some food into the back of my head, and I snapped right back to reality, realizing what exactly was happening. I laughed a little, and just played along.

It was like a bunch of fireworks flying through the air in a school! There was all sorts of food flying everywhere, jelly, pizza, fruit, even milk! Everyone was laughing, all having a good time. All until the teachers came to see what all of the sudden ruckus was. I think that it was a kid named Drew who accidentally threw some food at a teacher. Everything and everyone there was silent.

No one dared moved, barley even breathe. Finally the teacher, Mrs. Iven, spoke up while wiping the food from her face, "Who started this disaster?". Her voice was completely calm most of the time, even at a time like this! It kinda gets creepy after a while...

Instantly people started to point at Airn and me. Good bye, I thought to myself, goodbye everyone, everything, goodbye life.

The haunting look that Mrs. Iven gave us will never leave me, it was singed into my brain.
