Sadly, that didn't happen. Two hours later, at about nine, George and Bennet came to my door and tried to apologize. I told them I wasn't in the mood and was writing. I guess they really wanted to apologize, because they busted into my room. There I sat, quill in hand, writing my new book series. The gray leather covering the book already had drips of ink on it, and the blue quill's bottom tip was stained black. I tried to close the inkwell with its stopper, but right as I found the stopper, Bennet had picked up the inkwell.

"NO, PUT THAT-" I began, but it was too late. Bennet's hand slipped. As the tiny bottle fell, three drops of ink fell out, one drop per person. I grabbed the journal, quill, and inkwell, as if something told me I needed them. Then everything went inky black.
