I'm Noah which is a really normal name for a guy from Grim Valley . Grim Valley was just a normal town before the government started testing on it, but that was years before I was born. Unfortunately that story will have to wait until I don't have to go to History of the Worlds.
I was at my locker getting my book for class when I felt something hit my shoulder. "Watch out human!" Says a girl from behind.
"Adeline apologize now!" says another girl . So I'm guessing the one that hit me was Adeline but who is this other girl?
"No Amber. He's a human and needs to get out of my way." The girl, Adeline, said as she flipped her black hair off her shoulders.
"Here let me help you up. Hi my name's Amber and that's Adeline." Said the red head named Amber .
"Sorry I have to get to class if we meet again I'll tell you my name." I ran off down the hall so I would be on time to class and barely make it. My teacher Mrs. Burns was introducing a new student who hasn't shown up yet. Then the door slams open and there she was the girl I met in the hall .
"Nice of you to join us Adeline." Says Mrs. Burns with a smile.
"I would have been here on time if it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to be here." Says Adeline with a grin
Mrs. Burns smile quickly drops. "Sit down in an open seat."
"Adeline come sit next to me " Says Kyle.
"Why?" She asks with a weird look on her face.
"Well, why not?" Kyle said.
"Fine." She said rolling her eyes.
"I don't know what her problem is but she seems hateful. " I whisper. She sits down in the empty seat by Kyle and across from me.
" What are you looking at scales? " Adeline says in an angry voice.
"You got a problem? " I say.
"Yeah I do. I'm sure you would to if some weird kid with scales was staring at you. " Adeline says.
"Says the weirdo with red eyes." I say glaring at her.
"You know wh-." She says before Mrs. Burns interrupts her.
"You to better be quiet before I send you to the office."
"Like I'm scared to go to the office. What are they going to do give me detention?" Adeline says.
"Adeline I've had about enough of you, go to the office." Mrs. Burn replies turning a slight shade of red.
"Aye aye captain." She says walking out of the room.
*30 minutes later*
Adeline came back in with a smirk on her face and I had a feeling she didn't get in trouble. I'm just hoping that I don't have anymore class with her.
Well going to my next class I talk to Kyle.
"Hey Noah " says Kyle.
" huh " I say.
" What do you think of Adeline so far " says Kyle
" I don't know what to think of her , but what I can say is she is hateful just like another person i know " I say.
"Well she is hateful,but i can see good in her " Kyle says.
" Well you may be able to see good in her , I don't see much good " I say.
" Well you just got to look a little harder " Kyle says.
" I don't want to , so you can see good in her but I'm hoping to not have anymore class's with her " I say.
I said bye to Kyle and still was walking to my class when a man in a suit ran up to me.
" Sir have you seen my lady , she's new here " the man says
" Who are you and What's her name if I may ask " I say.
" OH I'm sorry I should have told me name first , My name is BLAKE, and her name is Adeline " Blake says.
" I don't know were she is but you can ask the office which class she's in right now " I say.
"Thanks you...... I didn't get your name sir" Blake says.
"My name is Noah " I say.
" Thanks Noah if you excuses me I'll be on my way." Blake says and then runs to the front of the school.
" Was that guy, Adeline brother or her guardian, well that will have to wait tell I see him again.
" I say.
Be the time I got to class the teacher had all ready started class .
" Your late Noah , What's your excuse today got hit by another car " teacher says.
" No mr. Fox , I help someone find the office " I say.
" I'll let you off the hook this time but next time you better be on time " Mr. Fox says.
I took my seat in the back of the class and opened my book to a random page to make it look like I was doing something important.
I sighed and thought to myself
"'Why is this class more boring than the rest , oh I know because we don't do fun things like in History of the Worlds."'
At least after next hour I'll get to eat and see my friends, who probably will be talking about the 3 kids that got away from the government, I wonder what they do with people that run away .
