The next day, a boy with dark hair and green eyes and a girl with blonde hair and stormy gray eyes strode in to visit her. They were about Lilly's age, and were holding hands with each other. The boy spoke first, "That. Was. Awesome!" The girl glared at him, "Percy! that's not very nice! I'm sorry, he is an idiot sometimes. My name is Annabeth and this is Percy. We saw what happened, are you all right?" "I'm fine, just a couple of broken ribs," Lilly said. Then Percy said, "You know, you aren't the only one to get attacked by that dragon. It's happened to me a couple times." Annabeth laughed histerically as if this was an inside joke, which Lilly assumed it was. They chatted for a while, before Annabeth and Percy had to leave.

They were such a cute couple, Lilly thought. She hoped that she could find somebody here at camp half blood. What were the odds, though, that somebody would want to go out with her after this mess, and she would never work up the nerve to talk to any guys here. she was a wallflower after all, a person so shy that they could just melt away into nothingness. It wasn't like Lilly wanted to be this shy, she just was, and nothing was going to change that. She wished that she could be outgoing and fun, like her mom had been. Her mom had always been the life of the party, and always knew how to  make you laugh. Sadly, Lilly was not like her mother, and now she was really and truly alone.

Her broken ribs healed within a week, much sooner than Lilly had anticipated. Everyday Will Solstace came in to check on her and give her ambrosia and nectar. He was nice enough, but he never had much time to stay with her so most of the day Lilly was cooped up in bed.
