"...that's my Bestfriend," shook from every wall of the club making my rib cage vibrate with each drop of the beat. Purple florescent lights shone on the crowd below us and I found myself feeling important standing over the balcony in VIP sipping from the cup of vodka that I had been holding since thirty minutes ago. I wasn't a drinker and it was painfully obvious. The air was brimming with marijuana smoke and alcohol. Majority of the reserved section was filled with females, a few guys peppered here and there. I never expected to be standing here. I was lost in the whole night. I was nervous but at the same time my mind was racing with the satisfaction of being somebody that he wanted in his company.

He wanted me to be here.

Trey Songz had personally spotted me at his show and asked for me to be here. I couldn't grasp it. It must've sounded even crazier to say out loud.

I had yet to speak to or see Trey since we were backstage at his show. I was still on cloud nine and trying to force the alcohol down so that I may act like I was used to this sort of thing. It was definitely out of my comfort zone, in more ways than one. I was different compared to the other girls. I was a fan, completely, in every sense of the word.

"Do you think he's even gonna show up?" I yelled over the music into my best friend Shan's ear, feeling my face redden from the alcohol and the conversation. We were so different. Shan is like a chameleon. She blends into every scene and could relate with almost anybody. She's very light, both of us being of West Indian descent, and very short. Barely 5'5, although she likes to claim that she is. Shan is overweight but she wears it gracefully. It has never been a time where I found her being insecure about the way she looked. Even now her light was shining over my dim star.

She looked past me, her eyes widening in the direction behind me. "He's right behind you. Lord Jesus! Damn that man is fine!" she admitted taking a long sip from her drink in exaggeration. I wanted to turn around but I was nervous. My palms felt sweaty and the plastic clear cup I held began to feel weightless. It was getting hot. Shantey urged me to turn around. "Look! He's right there." Taking advantage of the moment, I turned my head just over my shoulder. He was oblivious to me and shyly, I turned back to face her. The familiar tingling in my body had resurfaced and my head began to throb from the feeling of adrenaline rushing through me. A plethora of females followed behind him, all evening out the section. For some reason, I wasn't bothered. Most of the girls weren't that attractive and the other half were as attractive in all honesty. I felt comfortable in my burgundy racer back tee that complimented my high waist jeans, neutral toned blazer, and printed loafers. Just then, "Down in the DM," by Yo Gotti blared through the speakers and the club erupted in noise.

A few drinks later, the bar blurred, the music faded, and even the smell of marijuana had dispersed. Then it happened.

He looked at me.

He was staring at me. His eyes were so intruding and he knew it. It was intentional. Trey had a gift of caressing you without even touching you. He smiled and gestured for me to come to him and I did. He took a sip from his drink and leaned down toward my ear. "I never got your name baby." he yelled over the music that was making it difficult to have a conversation. I blushed. My heart was thumping so loud. I had never told him my name. Me and a few other girls were herded like cattle out the back of the venue and stuffed into two black SUVS before we ended up at the club. It all happened so fast but Shan kept reminding me that this was once in a lifetime and even throughout all the chaos...I only knew that to be true.

I can't believe this is happening.

"Daryn," I finally answered back feeling the effects of the alcohol that had began to take over. I was grateful because it made me less of a wreck.

He nodded and smiled while shaking my hand as if we were now formally introduced. His hands were extremely soft. "You are so pretty." He was staring me directly in my eyes.

"Thank you." I blushed telling myself to believe it just because Trey Songz had said it. I didn't even have on a full face of makeup. My full head of jet black curls were in a tight bun on the top of my head but I honestly couldn't have felt more beautiful at that moment.

I looked over to Shan on the couch and his gaze followed my own. "Did you bring a friend?" He asked.

"Yeah, that's my best friend right there!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs as I pointed at her, settled in the black leather couch and sipping vodka from her straw as if it was spring water.

He nodded and sipped from his own, his fluffy lips pursing around the small black straw as he practically vacuumed the vodka down. He leaned in even closer than before. "I want you." he admitted.

"Okay." I answered calmly.

"I mean..." He chuckled and leaned in again. "I want you to come back to my room with me." He licked his lips and I could hardly hear him. The roof of my mouth was dry, like I had been sucking on cotton balls and all I managed to respond was a simple, "Okay". The smoldering look in his eyes was not only intimidating, but sexy as hell. He was lit and it was obvious. My pulse was quickening, my body tightening in response to the way he looked at me. He must have felt it too.He was clearly aware of what he was doing to me and it brought a smile to his full lips. I diverted the tension with a question as I always did when I was nervous.

"Do you think you could say hi to my friend?" I asked, knowing Shan would hold it against me forever if I had not. I lead him over to the black leather couch, acting oblivious to the glaring eyes upon me. Shan's eyes lit up and I introduced the two of them. It was quite a different experience than being rushed to snap a picture with him and grab an autograph. He shook her hand again and Shan  just did the ugliest laugh she always did when she was nervous. Trey was more than sweet and thanked her for coming out before he was called to over to another table. I sat down next to her. "Well?"

"He wants me to come back to his hotel with him." I said and watched Shan's face drain of color.

"Oh MY GOD!" she screamed. "WELL...BITCH ARE YOU GONNA GO?" her excitement had gotten the best of her and she couldn't control herself.

I just sipped slowly from my cup, letting the question answer itself.

"OH MY GOD!!!" she screamed.
