I could hardly control my anxiety. The air was muggy and wisps of my hair clung to my forehead and neck as I inevitably inhaled the thick air. I could already feel the effects of our rendezvous. My body tingling in places where it hadn't before. The inside of my thighs feeling as if someone had hammered my walls with a metal fist. Trey, now clad in a black tee and Nike sweatpants, held the door open for me and I walked by, letting him close it behind me. The ride down was silent. He scrolled through his phone nonchalantly never glancing up until the doors slid open.

I saw Shan and immediately smiled. She was always there for me. Even at 4am in the morning. I walked half-ran to her and her eyes slowly widened. She placed her hands on my forearms and shook me, eyes still wide. Amazing when you find a friend who knows what you're thinking without even saying it. Caught up in the moment, I forgot about why I was here in the first place. Ironic enough.

"Daryn," his voice held dominace making me stretch my head around to see him. He was walking away from the front desk and toward me. "I don't get no love?" he smirked his eyes staring me down witlessly and I could tell he was looking at my body...no longer shielded with my innocence. I smiled from ear to ear, walking into his grasp. I could feel the warmth trailing from his fingers to my ass as he pulled me closer to him making me wince in pain from the pressure put against my lower body. He laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

Then he did something unexpected. His head lowered his tongue pressing deeply into my mouth as my pedicured toes stretched so that I could reach his altitude. His lips that were slightly damp, left me involuntarily leaking, our lips producing a puckering that could be heard throughout the lobby. This was bold. We pulled apart and the heel of my feet slapped against the concrete as I fell back to my natural height. He released me from his arms before stepping back. "See you soon?" he asked me rather than stating. Not that it mattered anyway, the answer without a doubt would be yes. I nodded and he gripped my ass one good time before turning on his heels and heading toward the elevator. The cool breeze brushed by me as I turned around following behind Shan smiling as if I had won a million dollars.

Valet brought her car around and I swiftly slid into the bucket seats of Shan's two door Solara.

I was so caught up in my own world, I never heard Shan say a word. "...gonna flip the fuck out." Shanti brought me out my thoughts and I looked over to her confused.

"I said Aries is gonna flip the fuck out." She was beaming and could barely exhale. "I can't wait to tell that bitch my BESTFRIEND was with Trey Motherfucking Songz bitch!"

Aries was popular throughout our circle. She was a "urban model" that wasn't even really poppin until she got her ass done. Since then, she had 125k followers on Instagram and had slept with almost every local rapper in our city. She made sure to throw it in our face every chance she got as if it was something to be proud of.

"I'm freaking out right now," I admitted as we sat still parked at the entrance. "Look at my hands!" I said holding them up to her and they were visibly shaking.

"You need to breathe." She coached. "Do not pass out because I need the dick report." She said sounding half serious.

"I'm not gonna pass out." I insisted. "This is just happening too fast. I can't even process this shit."

"All you need to know is that this was probably the best thing to happen in our boring ass lives!" She said matter of factly. "Now.... start from the beginning..." Her car buzzed out of the entrance parkway as I took my first deep breath.
