Bystanders gawked in desperation to see who drove in the tinted window SUV that flew past streets and club patrons. My eyes bounced off the buildings, zigzagging from window to window. Between a simple gesture and movement, the only thing that prevented an awkward silence between us was the background noise of Kenny Maine covering college basketball highlights on ESPN's Sports Center. In the back seat I was accompanied by three other girls, I didn't know. I relaxed my head, compelled toward the window, watching as we zoomed pass windows people eyes pressed to see through the tinted glass. I was completely mute, anticipating what would happen when we reached the hotel.

A mass of young fans moved, all herding towards the center of the door, where security stood forcing and pushing. A stream of cool air floated toward us as we all entered the lobby, the other girl's head high as if they were the celebrities. Beyond the red-carpeted region designed to make guests feel like celebrities, the floor was tiled in large white and small black diamonds in sequence, and extended some thirty feet left and right. The tiles - that had to be buffed and polished each morning by a soul who truly worked for their minimum wage, dimly reflected the elaborate designs on the towering ceiling. On either side of the desk was a symmetrical, golden door elevator that looked nearly brand new. It was amazing.

The elevator ride was quiet aside from the aggravating elevator music that blared from the expensive speakers inside it. There was an irritable tingle in my bones. My stomach felt empty and shallow now as I stood watching as the numbers on the elevator panel slowly increased. With a final ping, the door slowly crept open and displayed hotel walls similar to the ones in the lobby. It took an eternity for us to finally reach the room down the longest hallway I'd ever been in. Trey's security reached into his back pocket retrieving a small blank card before pressing it in the slot, the green light signaling he had access.

Stepping aside, he let us walk through and into the room. Deep velvet carpet and crimson bed sheets contrasted blue-painted walls and made my mouth drop.

Photographs hung in golden frames and a long wooden coffee table sat in front of the couch. The sliding glass door leading to the balcony gave the whole impression of PA. I was in awe. I had never seen so much expensive shit at once in my life.

I walked back into the room and looked around at all the gold and expensive trimming that laced the lamps and dressers. "So how'd you end up here?" a skinny girl who looked to be Hispanic asked sitting across from me on one of the huge beds. She was directing the question toward me. I laughed nervously. "What do you mean?"

"I'm just saying you don't look like the type." She said matter-of-factly. "I mean... you have on sandals..." they all erupted in laughter.

I laughed halfheartedly too. "Yeah, uh..I don't know. I went to the concert tonight and I just...well a guy just told me Trey was making a club appearance tonight and I was invited." I admitted. "Then I ended up here..."

"Lucky you.." another girl interjected and I could feel the hostility as I came to realize they were all friends. Someone affiliated with Trey turned Shan around at the door. He was harsh saying that "her type" would not be invited. And even though I refused to go without her, she literally forced me, insisting once again that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I had better take it.

Thirty minutes had passed and I was still sitting in the room watching the grouch sisters destroy the minibar. Shan wanted a play by play but all I could give her was a picture from the balcony of the city's skyline and a quick mirror pic. My lip gloss had already dried up along with my hopes and in the mean time I had coddled enough shots of Tequila that it had scorched my throat and my inhibitions.

"Yo," a guy stuck his head in and pointed at me. "You..." He said sternly. "Come with me." I rose from the chair and followed behind him out the door ignoring the hissing from the other girls. I was lead to a room three floors up and I stood aside as he knocked on the door. Trey opened the door with his free hand, the other hand attached to his phone as he allowed me to walk past him into the room. He stood back and closed the doors. I touched my chest, trying to make myself breathe.

He was bare chest now and his abs were perfectly sculpted and smooth. He was talking on the phone as he walked back toward the back of the room leaving me standing there. The room was at least three times bigger than the one I'd just been in. Placing my clutch atop the dresser, I wandered the room in curiosity. Trey was still on the phone when he walked back in. I stood in front of the mirror on the dresser and watched him. He was in his boxer briefs now and if I hadn't been so drunk, I absolutely would have freaked out. But this time when I looked up and gazed at him I felt neither awkward nor shy. He walked over to the other side of the room in deep conversation as I continued to study him. Reaching into a candy dish, he pulled out a peppermint and popped it into his mouth. "Okay," he answered to someone as he chomped down on the candy. "Mmhmm." he followed up. "Yeah."

The call ended.

Finally looking up at me he smiled, "You alright?" I nodded and he laughed.

"You drunk?" I nodded again.

"C'mere."

I walked over to him and stood in front of him. He wasted no time running his hands down my back and stopping at my ass. His hands slowly traveled down, gripping and rubbing on my ass through my jeans. He exhaled, "Club got me all sweaty and shit," his voice was low. "I'm bout to shower." I know he felt my nipples hardened against his chest, cause he smiled whispering sexily into my ear. "You sexy as fuck. You know that?" I nodded, my body almost melting like butter in his grasp.

He was pressed so tightly against me, I nearly lost it. "Can I take these off?" He gripped my jeans roughly before lightly kissing my jaw.

"I'd like thhha-at," I stuttered. I was completely drunk, turned on, and in the zone. I realized that when I knew I didn't give a damn that if I turned the TV on right now I would probably see him on it. I wanted him more than anything else in the world at that moment.

He just grinned at me his bottom lip clutched under his teeth as he ran his fingers back and forth slowly and steadily. It was no turning back now.
