"This one?" I turn in the mirror
"Yeah."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." I clicked my tongue and took the phone out of Stephan's hands. Though he was reluctant, I had to take him shopping with me.

He groans and I lift a brow amused, he was such a child. But I loved that about him.
"I don't know why you couldn't get Teddy to...wow."

Stephan finally looked up to see I was only in my bra and underwear. Not like he hasn't seen this before. I've become more bolder in front of Stephan, I felt like we didn't have anything else to hide. Boy's got my heart and body, and to think I saw him as this toxic and disrespectful person. Well, he's still disrespectful. Like all the time, but only towards those who don't deserve respect. "Yeah my ass. You couldn't even tell I didn't put anything on Stephan."

"Well you certainly got my attention now." He pulls me closer for a kiss and I let him, I don't say it because I don't need his ego getting higher than it already is (which is pretty damn high) larger than it already is; but I loved kissing Stephan. I felt refreshed and cared for. He was lovely.

I can't believe I'm meeting his parents though, it's such a scary thought I mean-- I've read those interracial books! So I didn't really have much to offer the Pezementi Parents about me. I was just a super well known person by people only in the small town in was born in who stupidly got caught in their sons web of charm.

I pull away from Stephan glaring. "Stop seducing me. I really need help looking nice for your parents Stephan! I seriously want them to like me."

I heard that the Pezementi Parents were Dynamic people. Even Stephan himself said that they were a little strict and that left little to the imagination. What if they think I'm childish? I mean, I totally am but what if they think I can't hold Stephan down.

"Naomi!"
"Huh?" I blink back to Stephan. He closes his eyes. I know I tell you not to worry because it's useless but as usual you just love doing the opposite of what I say."

I pull away and begin putting back on my clothes. "Will they really like me?"

"Yes."
"And if they hate me?" I ask trying put my head through the shirt hole but my hair is making it difficult. With a huff I give in to my fabric prison and I hear Stephan start laughing at me, after a few tugs from him I could see his smile.

"Then I have no problem with getting married in a foreign country."

Back with this marriage thing? How does he know we're even going to last that long? I know I don't. I only chuckled, knowing that it would cause an unnecessary argument. "Let's go pay for these."

I spent more than two hours in the mirror. Was I being dramatic? Yes. Was it Justified? Also yes.

Ultimately I just decided on a beige form fitting dress, some jewelry and my lace flats. Too nervous, I didn't even press my straightener to my big ass head in fear that I would lose my concentration and burn myself then show up at the Pezementi place with a dent in my face like girl what are you doing.

"Another date tonight dear?" Mom asks as I hop down the stairs.

"With Stephan's parents, so tell me." I stretch out my arms weirdly waving them. "Do I look like the kinda girl you would let your son date?" Mom taps a pink nail to her bottom lip slightly smiling. She looked like she glowed these days and I was glad for her. I never asked what happened to Marcus but I never (and sister I still don't) cared to.
