Day 9

"(Y/N)!" I jump out of my chair and looked behind me.

Takeo and Suna were both staring at me.

"Help me find a present for Yamato!" Take grabbed me like a potato sack and carried me to the store.

"How about this?" Suna pointed to a blue bowl.

"A bowl?"

"Oh that! Remember Takeo, last time Rinko was talking about how cute a café au lait bowl was?"

"Oh Yeah!" Takeo help the bowl in the air.

Takeo walked over to the hair pin section of the store.

"So do you know what I want for my birthday?" I asked.

"I never know what you're thinking."

(The day of Rinko's birthday.)

"I wonder if Takeo is going to come." I said sitting down in front of the surgery room.

"He's going to come." Suna said.

"How are you so sure?"

"I just know."

"The surgery feels like it's going on forever."

Suna doesn't talk back.

I have no idea what Suna was think then. But I just knew that I needed to stay by his side.

I sadly smile and scoot towards Suna. I slowly hug him.

"I know you feel like it's your fault. But it's not." I slowly say in his ear.

I could feel Suna crying. I slowly move out of the hallway and downstairs to get myself a drink at the vending machine. I could hear shouting come from the lobby. I slowly walk into the lobby and see Takeo shouted at the person in the front desk.

I guess Suna was right.

"Takeo!" I said and walked over to him.

"(y/n)! WHERE IS SUNA?" Suna shook me back and forth.

I could feel that some food coming out the wrong way.

"It's...on the....second floor..." I mumbled feeling like I want to throw up.

"THANKS" Takeo dashed up the stairs not caring to use the elevator.

I slowly walk over the seats in the lobby and take a drink of the water that I just bought. Feeling like I gained conscious again, I put my water bottle in my bag and started praying that Suna's dad is okay. I could feel someone sit next to me so I look up.

"Hi (y/n)" Rinko said as she slowly sat down.

"Thanks for coming. Sorry about you birthday." I said smiling sadly.

"No, it's fine. Looking at this schedule, I could see that you changed it many times. I could tell that you spend a lot of time on it. Thank You." Rinko smiled and took out a bunch of origami.

Rinko started folding a paper crane. I take a piece of origami from her and start folding some too.

"You guys seem so happy." Suna said smiling.

Rinko, Takeo, and I quickly look over at him.

"Don't get me wrong." Suna looks away.

"Do you want a boyfriend?" Takeo asked.

"No."

"Sunakawa kun, I could introduce you to someone from my school!" Rinko said.

"No, please don't do anything."

"I could show you a BUNCH of people who would LOVE to date you Suna." I said while patting his back.

"I already have an eye on someone." Suna said.
