My name is Caroline, Carrie for short. This is the story of what happened when I represented America in the Olympics for swimming. I had one of the biggest crushes on William and Kate's son George. Most girls like the singers, the actors, or the athletes. My older sister Chelsea fell for a singer, and they're now married with two children. However, in my case, I fell for the prince. I was never one to dress like a princess when I was younger. My calling was the water. My two brothers, Matt and Zach, were also swimming in the Olympics. I'd won 3 gold medals in one day. But today, would be the best day of my life. So, here goes my story.

DAY OF THE FINAL MEDAL RACE

I just finished first, and broke the world record. I wonder if Prince George will present the medals this year. Oh, it's time to get on the pedastal. As I stand on the pedastal, I finally see the presenters come out. Old man, prissy woman, and... is that? It can't be. It's George, followed by Kate! The man gives the girl in 3rd place her medal, the prissy woman gives the short girl in second place hers, and George and Kate come up to me. He placed the ribbon around my neck, and straightened out the medal. Kate walked up, and placed a bouquet of flowers in my arms, and smiled. They both congratulated me on my win, and then they were led back to the tunnel. As they walked, George kept looking back at me, and smiling. I returned the smile. I joined my sister, her husband and kids, my mother, father, brothers Matt and Zach back in the locker room. "Congratulations Carrie! I'm so proud of you!" my mother says, pulling me into a tight hug. "Good job baby girl" says my father. "I knew you could do it Carrie." Chelsea said, smiling at me. Matt and Zach were actually crying. The tough wonder twins, were actually crying. We went back to our hotel, where we came to flowers, cards, and other various gifts. I just wanted to lay down, I was tired from swimming, and I've been up since about 5 in the morning. I laid on the bed, as Chelsea sat on the edge of the bed, painting my nails for me. Just then, the phone rang. "Hello?" my mother said into the phone. "Who is it mom?" I asked, sitting up. She held up a finger. "We'd love to! Thank you so much!" she said, hanging up the phone. "Again, who was it mom?!" I asked yet again. "Kate. She's invited us to dinner at Kensington Palace with William, herself, and George." she replied. My stomach filled with butterflies. My sister and I looked at each other and let ot a happy scream. "We have to go shopping!" Chelsea said, grabbing my hand and pulling me up. We slipped our shoes on, and my mom picked up Chelsea's daughter, and brought her down to the car with us. We bought dresses, and shoes. I got a beautiful diamond necklace, my mom bought some earings, and my sister got a bracelet, with a music note charm. We went back to the hotel, and all the boys were dressed in tuxedos. They walked us down to the car that Kate sent for us, and off we went. As the car pulled up, my heart was beating a thousand times a minute. The driver opend the door and we all  came out. I walked up the stairs, and the doors opened.

End of part one.
