I DO NOT OWN GRAVITY FALLS.

(Addie's POV)

Three days until the semi-formal.

I'm lying, face down, on my bed. I don't want to leave my room because it means I would have to face one of Miracles meaningless apologies. The door opens. I groan.

"Ok, hostile. Come one sis, you should forgive Miracle, he was just doing what he thought was best for you. That's all he's ever done."

I roll over. "I know, I'm just not ready yet. If I do it now, then the apology would just seem fake. I just need a few more days."

"Fine. New topic. The semi-formal is in three days. You have to go. It will help you get out of this slump. Plus, if you don't go I won't have as much fun."

"No thanks Wren, I'm not in the mood."

"Trash, I have $350 for a new dress that says otherwise."

"No offence, but I've never liked dresses."

"Because you've never worn one. Come on sis, let me buy you a dress. I need this so I can feel accomplished as a big sister."

"You are only older than me by a few seconds and you know it."

"Whatever, so, what do you say?"

"Fine, you could by me a dress."

"Yay."

Wren drove me too the fanciest dress shop in town. We walked in and the clerk walked up to Wren. "Welcome back Miss Pines. How may I help you?"

"I'm here to buy a dress for my sister."

The clerk looked at me. "I have a few selections. Come with me."

Wren gave me a thumbs up as I followed the women towards the back. She gave me some dresses and shoes and directed me to the dressing room. I got changed and looked at myself in the mirror. "Wren, I don't know about this."

"Come on. Give it a try."

"Fine." I exited the dressing room and saw Wren standing there with her mouth open.

"Mother of God."

"What, do I not look good."

"Quite the opposite, you look amazing. Now for the shoes."

At the end of it all we had decided on a dark purple dress that was tight at the top and billowed out slightly at the bottom with some purple flats. We got home and saw mum at the tabel with Miracle. He looked as if he was going to say something, but then just left the room. I looked at mum and she motioned for Wren to leave.
