I woke up to a familiar sight' the beautiful red eyes I've come to love and trust"morning"her voice calm and inviting. "Come on get up"she stands and helps me up"come on they'll be up soon and you know they get hungry when they wake"
"Yeah"we start walking her hand in mine, a faint blush on my cheeks. She notices my blush and pulls me close holding my arm.
"Why so blushy?"she nudges me making me lose my balance, we fall her body landing over mine. She leans down and whispers in my ear"i always thought you would be on top" she gets up my face completely red. She laughs and helps me up. We walk her arm intertwined with mine.
"How much longer?" A hint of annoyance in my voice.
"Not long and just know in there we are a couple...it's not the safest place and I need some protection Ok?" Her voice is unresistable and I agree. "Good and no one knows you yet so try and not be killed"
"Ok but I might just die...also why do you need protection?"
"I owe a guy...he...he doesn't take money" I look at her and understand in an instant.
"Alright I can try"we continue walking and make it to a bar. It's old and run down but is extremely lively, I hate places like this I hate company in general but it can't be helped. We walk in and sit at a booth.
"So we'll need some more people if you're going to survive"she looks over her shoulder every so often and I look where she does, there looks to be a man tall with sapphire blue eyes. He's staring right at the back of lily's head. "So...he's staring isn't he?" I nod and look in her eyes they're full of fear.
"Is he the one you're worried about?" She nods and he stands"if he tries to hurt you I'll kill him"she nods and composes herself. He walks over and looks between us.
"Lily"his voice chills me to the bone.
"What do you want hect"
"You owe me are you willing to pay? Or do I have to use force?"he picks her up by the throat. She grabs his fingers and tries to pry them off but fails.
"Hey asshole"he looks at me his eyes a blaze"a fire demon huh?"
"So what?"his voice is filled with rage.
"Three words God, of, fire" I tackle him making him let go of her. his body was burning, his clothes almost burned off."alright not enough clothes"i put my hand on his chest and his body disintegrats into dust. I stand and try to compose myself. I let out my breath coughing out blood.
"Takahisa!"that's the last thing i hear before I pass out from pain and enter a nightmare.
My eyes open and I'm in a dark room, I stand and see Lily. I sigh in relief "lily where are we?"she says nothing and I notice she's in a wedding dress. "Lily?" Hector comes from behind her.
"Sorry asshat but lily isn't here anymore"a tear runs down her cheek as she looks at me.
"Come my dear Hector let's leave him"she starts to walk away but looks at me her eyes wanting me to save her but she walks off. I try to run after her but my legs are chained.
"Lily" The word barely escapes my mouth before I have the tip of a sword at my neck. I look down the blade for the one holding it but I can't see him, he pulls it back and thrusts it at me. I move to the side and bring my bound hands to the blade. They are cut and my hands are free. The man stumbles forward and I grab his shirt it is Hector. "Where is lily?" I growl as I bring his face closer to mine.
"I don't have to tell you anything"he brings the sword up and the tip of it is missing"what the"i stab him in the throat the my hand getting covered in blood. I let go of the blade and push him down grabbing his keys as he fell. I unlock the chains and run into the darkness.
