Picture is of Jason
You could say I'm just another 'Catholic School girl', but then that would be assuming I'm a slut which I am not. I do go to a Catholic school, but I'm completely the opposite. It is actually really small and I'm pretty much the outcast of my class. The weird kid in the back that everyone knows is there but doesn't pay attention to? Yep, that's me. There is only 30 of us and everyone has their own little clique. My only friends, Tonya and Chrissy, are the ones that keep me company in this small, hell of a school.
Being that it is February, it's a bit cold out. It is supposed to snow sometime this week and the clouds look promising. It hasn't fully snowed here for as long as I can remember. Maybe I can get a day or two out of school. My mind wonders off thinking about the snow when suddenly I snap back into reality when Jason speaks to me telepathically."Enjoying the weather?" He says softly.
"Actually yea, it's beautiful today. Are you?" I ask.
"It's alright." He sounds as if he's thinking.
"What are you thinking about?"
"I feel funny, like there is someone here that shouldn't be. Someone unwelcome on holy land."
"I have felt it too. Since around Christmas the atmosphere in this place has changed. This place isn't so holy anymore." I say with my stomach doings flips, as if something inside me is trying to escape.
"Let's keep our eyes open for anything. You all should be headed to mass soon anyway, I'll see you there." He replies.
Then it hit me. Today was Wednesday, Mass day.

Jason and I met through my music teacher. He plays the organ at mass and is head of choir. Just lately we have been able to communicate through our minds. Which we don't understand what has triggered it, how it is even possible, or even why us two. We also don't understand why we have this huge protection over the cathedral. It's as if our whole soul is being possessed to become guardians.
Lately I've been having dreams of shape shifting into an animal and attacking demons. Yea, I know, catholics deal with demons on a daily basis. But why would I deal with it? Jason has also been having dreams of that sort but he turns into what he calls a "sphinks." Which is what he describes to be a lion with wings. All these things have us confused.-
As my class walks into the cathedral the smell of it hits us. It smells of cold air conditioning and incense. It's a very comforting smell; it smells like home. But lately there has been a terrible vibe in the church and it makes me extremely uneasy.
Walking into the entire cathedral I glance up into the choir loft where my eyes meet Jason's. We exchange a nod as I'm ushered into my pew. As soon as I see Father Victor my whole mood changes. I become extremely possessive."Jason, I don't have a good feeling about Victor." I say in a pissed off but worried tone.
"Yea, there is something wrong with him. He hasn't been himself lately, even though he was already an asshole." Jason replies.
