A night to remember

The prom

Ally has outdone herself again we walk out the front door and the first thing I notice is massive white limousine waiting for us "Ally you shouldn't have it must've cost a fortune" I said with a saddened voice even though inside I was buzzing I would be arriving to prom in a limo and The Wanted were going to be performing maybe tonight would be fun after all.

"Charlie it's prom we want to make an entrance after all tonight is one of the most important nights of any teenage girls life that and their wedding! Oh My God you don't know yet Millie told me that The Wanted are going to be there!" Ally dosen't know I heard her talking to my mum so I try and act exited which wasn't hard because I can't wait to see them.

"Ally I know" I squeak "I heard you talking to my mum" I explain once I see her confused expression

"Ohh well then lets go we don't want to miss their performance!"

We jump into the car and wave bye to my family it was officially happening we were going to prom and The Wanted will be there and I won't have to think about Cory.

20 minutes later the school came into view my heart immediately started beating faster I was worrying to much or maybe I was to exited "Charlie calm down you're going to be okay!" Ally tried to confort me, but it only made me more paranoid, how would she have know to calm me down if she didn't hear my heart beating it must be really loud. Taking deep breaths and telling myself not to panic my heart rate eventually slowed "Better now" Ally asked talking like she was speaking to a 2 year old,

"Yeah lets go" I reply. The driver gets out the limo and opens the door for us, it was finally time we were here "lets go make Cory jealous Charlie!" Ally said enthusiastically while helping me out the door, once I climbed out Ally looped my arm in hers and pulls me towards the door

"Yeah lets!" I say as we get closer to the hall.

As we walked closer to the door the music got louder, there was a high pitched squeak of a microphone and the music was turned down in its place was the heads voice "As said earlier performing tonight is The Wanted and here they are please give a warm welcome to The Wanted!" people started screaming and I heard someone else speak a man this time I push the door open and walk in holding it open for Ally I watch as Max introduces the rest if the band "and our youngest band member Nathan Sykes" all the girls, including me, go crazy he was so cute Ally lets go of my arm and grabs my hand, we push through the crowd to get a better look of them.

They had just started singing as Ally and I started jumping about having the time of our life's jsut then there is a tap on my shoulder I turn round and all my happiness drains away as I stand face to face with Cory, he has his arm flung round the back of my so called other best friend Millie's back.


"Hey Charlie looking sexy" Cory slurred hes drunk "How you doin'?"

"Fine thanks" I say but inside I am dying all I want to do is run back to my house and lock myself in my room,

"WHAT THE HELL!" Ally shouts as she turns around "We were having fun and you, Cory, have just ruined it just fuck off and leave us alone!" she adds then grabs my hand and pulls me away from them

"You can run but you can't hide!" he shouts after us he says something else but I don't hear him because Ally pulls me out into the corridor and the toilets and then I can't hold it in any more I burst out crying I have no idea why, but I did and now all I want to do is go home and climb into my bed where I know I'm safe and no one can hurt me,

"Charlie just ignore him he's a dick come on wash your face reapply your make-up and lets go back out there and have fun" Ally says soothingly and it works that's why shes my best friend.
