Chapter 2
I woke up to my annoying alarm clock blarring in my ears and the bright sun peeking through my curtains.
"Ughhh 5 more minutes" i pouted while rubbing my face.
"geт υp."
I ignored the voice in my head and buried my head under my pillow.
"yoυre gonna мιѕѕ тнe вυѕ dooғυѕ geт υp!!"
i sighed. "Fine" i said frustrated. It took me another 5 minutes to finally pull myself away from my warm, cozy bed. The cool air rushed through me causing goosebumps to form all over my body. I shivered while rubbing my arms attempting to warm myself up.
"ιѕ ιт lιĸe 40 degreeѕ ιn тнιѕ нoυѕe? dang. "
I searched around my room trying to find my lime green abercrombie jacket.
"Ahh there it is." I reached over to my jacket on my nightstand which was by a picture of my best friend and I, Hailey.
Hailey has been my best friend since 3rd grade! (Thats 8 years in case you were wondering) Hailey has helped me through everything. Shes also the only person i have confinded in about my abuse when i was younger. That is except for my foster parents. I know i can tell her anything and she can tell me anything. Were more like sistets then best friends.
I zipped up my jacket and trudged toward my closet to pick out an outfit for the first day of my junior year. I decided on a pink and navy blue floral tank with denim capris. To finish the look, i slipped on my white vans with blue laces. I headed toward the bathroom to finish getting ready. (Makeup, hair, you know what i mean.) when my text tone went off. I grabbed my phone knowing it was Hailey who sent me a text.
"eхcιтed ғor ѕcнool? (;" it read.
I chuckled. "overjoyed!" I replied. (Note my sarcasm)
It was the first day i would be going to school with hailey. You see, we used to go to different schools before i moved, but since i moved AGAIN i lived closer to Hailey and got zoned to her school. i know, its complicated.
Anyway, i have a new school, new friends, and a new life. Wish me luck.
