POV Emma

She didn't answer, she stayed quiet all day long. When we got home I was tired of that awkward silence: I had been trying to communicate with her for hours. She went straight to her bedroom and shut the door; I tried to keep calm and I drank a beer "she's gonna come out" I kept on saying to myself.

My phone rang: it was a message! 'Why don't you two come over tonight? We can have a family dinner and stay together since Henry's away!' it was my mom's.

I knocked on Regina's door and I opened it "Sorry to bother...my mom invited us for dinner...tonight...what do I say?"

"You can go but I'm not coming" she said quickly "Oh and close the door when you go out of here!" she turned her back.

I went out without saying a word and I decided to go for a walk: I couldn't stand that silence anymore. I walked along the path that takes into the woods, it was a nice warm sunny day and I was wearing my red leather jacket and a pair of jeans. I walked for about two hours and then I sat on the Toll Bridge, looking at the water passing by. I began to throw little rocks in the stream, trying to free my mind, trying to fix the mess in my head.
My phone rang again...I was hoping in a message from Regina, but there was no sign of hers! Sadly it turned out to be another message from Henry 'We're about to arrive but here the connection isn't great! Don't worry for me! C U in 2 days moms!'
