“Violet wake up,” my best friend Casey screeches, “today’s the day.”

“Go away,” I mumble while pulling the duvet up higher; I’m definitely not a morning person.

“Get up, I didn’t spend all week helping you pick out the perfect nerd outfit so you could just sleep in and ruin it.” She jerks the covers off exposing my naked skin to the chilly room, “oh my god, when did you start sleeping nude?” She tosses the blanket back at me and slaps her hand over her eyes.

“I don’t,” I rub the sleep away from my eyes and blink trying to adjust to the light, “I guess I got hot in the middle of the night and pulled off my sleep shirt,” I gesture to the baggy football jersey laying at the foot of my bed on the white carpet.

“Well hurry up and get ready, it's already six o’clock, we're going to be late for school,” she strides out shutting my door louder than necessary.

“Ugh,” I moan as I slide off my bed and stretch out my stiff muscles. I walk into the bathroom that joins together my room with the guest bedroom, where my best friend is staying for the week. Surveying my unclothed body I grin with pleasure, and tap my fingers against my curvy hip while turning to the side. My stomach is flat and toned, the only marking is the tattoo under my left breast on my rib cage. It's of a feather with three birds and the words, 'Someday we'll fly together,' surrounding it.

“Hey are you taking a shower or what? I need to get in there,” Casey yells through the door. I pile my long black wavy hair on the top of my head and step into the warm shower I had just cut on moments before.

“Come in,” I begin scrubbing my soft olive skin with the body wash Secret Wonderland from bath and body works.

“Good thing I took a shower last night or we would be really late, and you know what today is,” Casey says as she's plugging in her flat iron. I cut off the shower and slip a black towel through the cracked misty glass door, and wrap it around my body before stepping out onto the black fuzzy rug.

“I know I’ll hurry up, if anything we can just skip the coffee shop,” she gasps like I've suggested committing a felony, “Okay, how about I just hurry?”

I cross my fairly large bedroom and go into my walk in closet; my dad's a lawyer, and owns his own private practice, so I'm on the fortunate side of life. I layed out the perfect nerd outfit last night on my red suede chase lounge, but first I slip into my favorite black lace bra and undies. After pulling them on I put on my black thigh highs with the lace trimming at the top, and pull on my gray and black plaid mini skirt. I tuck in my white button down shirt and unbutton a few of the top buttons, and slip on my black high heeled oxfords before leaving the closet. I retrieve my favorite Betsey Johnson bow earings from my jewelry armoire, and spray Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue on my wrists and neck. With half of my morning routine already complete I head towards the bathroom to finish my hair and makeup!

“Damn you look hot,” I smile at Casey.

“So do you,” her outfit looks exactly like mine except it was brown and navy. She's also wearing very light make up, I myself don't wear any; except for mascara and chap stick.

“I left my flat iron plugged in for you, but I figured you’d want to curl your hair so I plugged that one in to so hurry. Did you pack your bag for practice already?”

“Uh yea I did last night it’s down stairs by the door with my book bag,” I say while curling my hair.

“Here’s your glasses,” she slips black rimmed glasses on my face with fake lenses, “You totally look like a sexy librarian,” she’s right I do.
