Hey :) How is it going?

I groaned as I got a text message from Caspar. Not that I don’t like him or anything, but lately he texted me non stop. Caspar and me have been going out for several months until I decided to brake up. He was almost never at him, he didn’t really have time for me and so I ended things early so that we could still be friends. I don’t know how he felt after the break up but 3 months after being single, Jack asked me out and to be honest, since then I felt like the happiest girl in the world.

I put my phone aside without replying. “Who texted you?” Jack asked and I shrugged my shoulders “No one important” he smiled at me and went on reading. We were laying on my couch all cuddled up and just enjoying each other companies. I don’t know for how long we have been laying like that, when someone rang the doorbell. I got up and kissed Jack on the mouth before I went to the front door.

"Caspar!" I said out in shock when I saw him standing there with a rose. "Can I come in?" I looked back over my shoulder and answered "No, that’s not a good idea…" "Who is it?! I hear Jack shout from the couch. Caspar’s smile faded when he heard Jack’s voice. "Oh…" was all he whispered. "Caspar…" Suddenly Jack was behind me, wrapping an arm around my waist. Jack sounded a bit annoyed when he saw the red rose in Caspar’s hands. 

There was an awkward silence between the three of us until Jack cleared his throat and said “I think you should go now” he had something determining in his voice as his expression hardens. Caspar finally looked up and his shy expression was also replaced by a cols look. “I don’t think you can decide that…” he hissed at Jack and looked at me. “Guys…” I sighed and looked at both of them. I could feel Jack’s grip tighten around my waist. “(Y/N), listen… I know, you are with Jack” he gave an angry look to Jack and went on “but I just wanted to tell you, that I’m really sorry, for everything… I know that I was a shitty boyfriend, but I can’t live without you… Please?” he handed me the rose and waited for my response. I stared at the rose and went through his speech again. But there was nothing, there were no sparks, nothing.

Before I could answer, Jack has left my side and was now dangerously close to Caspar. “No, you listen! You have fucked up, you treated her completely wrong and she does not deserve that! She is the most beautiful girl in the world, not only from the outside but also in the inside! And I can’t believe that you hurt her like that because she does not deserve that, not her” I was completely taken back but not only me, also Caspar was looking a bit frightened. And when Jack said these things, the sparks, I couldn’t feel when Caspar said these things, were exploding in my insides and I fell in love with him even more…

"That’s enough!" I heard myself say as I grabbed Jack’s arm to pull him back. We both knew that he was much stronger than I was, but he still let me pull him back. Caspar had tears in his eyes as he watched me.(Y/N)?" he whispered, still having that one last bit of hope…

"You should leave, Caspar…" without waiting for him to leave I pushed Jack into the apartment and closed the door behind me. I couldn’t help but smirk when Jack was angrily walking back to the couch, still tensed up. "I didn’t like that…" he finally said, throwing one of the pillows across the room. "Is there someone jealous?" I grinned as I followed him back to the couch. He put his hands around his neck and stayed like that for quite some time. With every second he didn’t say anything, I started to realise how much it actually annoyed him and how much all of this actually meant to him. When I sat down next to him and put a hand on his shoulder he finally started to speak again "It’s just… you mean too much for me… You are my world and I hated the way he treated you…" I could still hear anger in his voice.

My heart jumped as I heart him saying that. “Jack” I whispered and cupped his face with my hands and made him look at me.

"There is no choice between Caspar and you… It will always be you!"
