Today your friend Sam was throwing a party and you had been invited. Sam always threw the best parties. You’d decided to go to his house before the party to get ready.

"Hey Sam." You said happily as he opened the door

"Hi (Y/N)!" He said excitedly as he pulled you into a bear hug and you started blushing bright red.

Although you’d never tell him you had the biggest crush on him. You’d liked him since the day you met him when the two of you were both thirteen.

There was just something about his personality that you loved. Maybe it was the way he wasn’t afraid to be himself or maybe it was his fun and lovable personality. You weren’t really sure. All you knew is that you were crushing on him big time.

"You’re not wearing that to the party are you?" Sam said frowning as he looked at your singlet top and sweatpants.

"Of course not!" You said. "My dress and makeup is in the bag you big idiot."

"Ohhh." He replied chuckling. "You could totally pull of the whole lazy day look though."

This just caused you to blush even more than before. Sam was always playfully flirting with you or just saying things like this. He found it hilarious that you blushed so easily.

You walked in and set all of your stuff down on his bed and you then turned to him and spoke. “Leave so I can ready.”

"What I don’t want to leave?" He said smirking.

"Then I’ll have to kill you." You said in some weird accent.

"Fine I’ll leave." He said. He have you a quick peck on the cheek before leaving the room.

'I probably look like a tomato' you thought to yourself.

It had taken you two hours to get ready but you were finally done and you had to say you looked pretty good. You were wearing a tight red dress, a leather jacket and black high heels.

You walked down the stairs to see Sam already dressed and playing Xbox. He looked really good tonight and you couldn’t help but stare.

"How do I look?" You asked causing him to turn around. His jaw dropped and he was obviously checking you out.

"You look…. Wow. You look amazing." He said staring at you in awe.

"Thanks." You said blushing once again. "So when are people arriving?"

"Sometime around now." He said after he’d checked the time. As if on cue the doorbell rang. "Better go get that!"

It had been an hour since the first couple of people had arrived and the party was in full swing. Everyone was dancing and there were heaps of drunk people.

You hadn’t seen Sam in a while so you decided to look for him. You weren’t worried because you knew he didn’t drink or do drugs you were just genuinely curious as to where he was. After about ten minutes of looking you found him on the couch talking to some guys.

"Hey Sam." You said smiling as you walked over to him.

"Hey (Y/N)." He said with a huge smile he then began to get up and turned to the guys and said. "I’ll be back."

"Where are we going?" You asked as he grabbed your hand and lead you through the crowds of people.

"We are going to go outside where it’s quite." He replied. Once you were outside he sat down on a chair and pulled you onto his lap and you of course blushed like crazy. "You look beautiful tonight, (Y/N)."

"Thanks." You replied as you used your hair to hide your blush.

"I mean it (Y/N)." He said turning your head to face him gently. "You have no idea how much I wanna kiss you right now."

You tried to stutter out a response but you failed. Sam then rested his forehead against you and you didn’t know how to respond. He then gently pressed his lips against yours. It took you a minute to react but you eventually did. You began to move your lips against his. It was the best kiss you’d ever had.

"(Y/N) you have no idea how perfect you are." Sam breathed his forehead still resting on yours. "Be mine. Please."

"Always." You breathed out still not fully believing what had just happened.

Sam then pressed his lips against yours again and you couldn’t believe what had just happened. The boy of your dreams had just asked you out. You were ecstatic. You couldn’t be happier.
