"Come, blessed queen, honored wife, the source of life. Bear the heavenly light, whose grassy plains delight, sweet to smell, and pleasing to the sight. Send gentle health and free the land from strife.
"Earthly, singing, in meadows flirting, I remember. Hear my prayer. To lovers favor bear. Listen to your suppliant's voice," I choked on my sadness. "Allow me to rejoice."
