Knock Knock Knock
My heart was racing so incredibly fast. Yet for some odd reason- my body slowed. Time seemed to have stopped for what I was about to endure. I needed to get answers. My mind had ran wild for ages wondering and pondering what truly happened to their parents and why they rushed out of town without even uttering a goodbye to me. The gossip at all the town events were cringe worthy. The words of people who acted like the Montgomery's lives was simply a story made me feel an intense anger- unstoppable and incurable almost.
Suddenly, the door eased open and Sebastian's face was warm and inviting. He was wearing the same grey V-neck but with dimmer lights- you could really see all his toned upper body and eyes that could kill any girl in a hundred mile radius. His eyebrows sharp and bushy- always a distinct feature of his I couldn't help but adore.
"Are you sure you want to see him?" He said this with a stern face that made me gulp down and feel even more nervous, if that was even possible.
----
Today is the first day of junior year and I've been dreading it all summer. I know as soon as I walk through the door the boys would be the talk of the school. Plus, I hadn't even seen Ezra yet- I chickened out last weekend and had Sebastian take me home in his jet black jaguar. The talk was dreadfully awkward for me because I was too worried I would utter the wrong thing and break him to pieces.
After about a ten minute ride in my Jeep Wrangler, I stomached down all my nerve and forced myself up the long stairway of the school. As soon as I opened the door- everyone simply gazed straight at me like I was some superstar. The entire school knew me and my reputation-sweet, rich, a cheerleader, intelligent, but not someone to ever cross. Everyone wanted to be my friend either because my parents were loaded to the nines or they wanted to gain popularity. I guess for some reason I had grown immune to the stares. I started to work my way to my locker- near the gym.
"There you are! We've been looking for you for ten minutes straight!" Katy yelled with a hint of annoyance from the far side of the hallway with Estelle by her side.
"Katy, it would be much easier if you just enabled my GPS on my phone," I mocked with a smirk written across my face.
"Have you seen your two lover boys yet or are they going to be fashionably late?" Estelle deadpanned while embracing me in a tight hug.
"I'm internally rolling my eyes at you forever, Estelle," I commented while finding my new paisley notebooks in my locker then swiftly scooping them up.

Strolling into my first block-AP English I casted a slight grin over to all the familiar faces in the room. I eased down in a seat towards the front of the class, not even hiding my excitement for my favorite subject. For the next few minutes before class began, I examined my teacher to see if she would be a pain in my ass. She had extremely pale skin and short light hazel hair to match- her big doe eyes were a feature that I envied at she looked over her class. The poise of her body language seemed as though she may be strict.
After about five minutes of her babbling through the course expectations I zoned out thinking of what junior year would have in place. I could only dream this year wouldn't be too painfully stressful. Suddenly, Ms. Sherbak had stopped mid sentence and glanced over at the door that was left wide open.
Turning my head slightly, I couldn't breathe with what I saw- a tall gorgeous boy- at least six foot with dark features that killed. He was wearing a nice black sweater that seemed to have engulfed his entire body and black skinny jeans that looked glorious on him. His jaw was clenched severely almost as if it was permanent.
Everyone was dead silent until whispers broke out into the entire class room- every face either staring at me or him- some even whiplashing back and forth.
Oh great, Ezra the great has finally returned from the slumber!
"Sit down, Mr. Montgomery- you're late," she demanded with a snarky tone.
Ezra eyes caught mine in a strict deadlock as he paraded through the classroom with a cocky grin straight my way. He slowly sat down to the seat right next to me with grace I never knew a guy could have. I gulped down and tried not to show any indication of nervousness. As the teacher annoyingly continued her lesson I lean towards him and whispered,
"Estelle was right- you were gonna show up fashionably late," I pronounced as I bit down on my lip- unsure of what to say to someone I cared so deeply for.
He didn't reply to me- yet his eyes wandered to my hands with a short chuckle.
My heart was racing undeniably fast at the simple sound of his laugh- the thing I had been dying to hear for years on end. His face had turned solid after that, which killed me- but I could sense him acknowledging me in a subtle way that was his own. Every pair of eyes were on me- except the ones I wanted, sadly.
Logan Lerman as Ezra Montgomery!!
