Quote of the chapter: ""They learned it in a hard way:Things cannot be undone."
A/N- I would like to thank one of my really close friends Drunk_In_Ambooty for really helping me and inspiring me with my writing!<3(:Ezra's POV*
Looking at her hurt. I could see the pain in her eyes- her beautiful chocolate eyes looking up at me for direction. She was wearing my favorite color- a red tank top and her hair was in a high pony, which allowed me to cherish her sharp Italian features.
All I crave to do right at this moment is tell her why I left, why I never said goodbye, and why and how she is a witch.
I knew I shouldn't read her thoughts, but I needed to know if she truly forgave me for abandoning her. Her eyes skimmed around my messy room and suddenly stopped where my record player had been placed.
He kept it.
The words rushed through me like a dam that broke. Her thoughts were addicting, she was addicting. I mean of course I kept the one thing that made me forget the pain and think of the happy times. All I need is to be close to her body- that's all I've thought about all day.
To turn on the record player required as much effort as lifting my finger. My powers were always pretty impulsive. The music of Sinatra whispered through my room and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Ezra, how did the music start?" The look of confusion alone almost made me bust out laughing. She was like an amused child most of the time which was annoying and yet so darn cute to me.
"Dance with me," I stammered as I put my hand out praying she would take it. She stared down at my hand for what seemed like ages before grabbing it. Her hands were so dainty and small- they fit perfectly in mine.
She laid her head down on my shoulder and my heart about jumped out of chest. Laying her hand on my shoulder, I gently pulled my one hand around her waist bringing her slightly closer. I sang the words to the love song as softly as I could and I could practically feel her body melt into mine.
As I closed my eyes letting myself relax into her, I slowly spelled out "inevitable love" onto her back. I missed her more than anything in this world- as much as my parents. She was my other half no matter how far apart we were.
My Mary Katherine.
Opening my eyes, I saw the last person I wanted to see- Sebastian. Mary felt my disconnect and looked over, then raced out of the room.
"Are you a bloody idiot? She can't know about our powers or hers! She deserves a normal life!" He practically yelled at me with his eyes darkening at every word.
"She has a right to know, plus she's more powerful that both of us- she would love her gift."
"The only reason you want her to know is for your own selfish agenda, Ezra."
The words stung through me. Even though it was partially true, she truly deserves to know and hiding something from her killed me.
"Ezra, I'm sorry okay? I know how much you care about her- I just am worried onto how she could react."
I knew his apology was sincere- it's just that we thought so different that it was hard for us to agree on things. He strolled over and sat on my chair- looking quiet complexed.
