My eyes flew open as I continue screaming Johann's name, tears bubbled down my cheeks. My feet kept on kicking on the air, trying to fight the wingy man but I knew it is just a waste of energy. He is ten times stronger than me.

"Shhh, hush my love!" I felt two strong arms wrap around my body and it dawned at me that the wingy man isn't real. My head snapped at my husband who is looking ghostly pale than his already pale complexion. My face softened and I started mumbling nonsense. My body literally shakes but eventually calmed down as I focused on his warm embrace. I am safe now.

"You had a dream?"he asks, his voice shocked.

"Nightmare,"I whispered, then hug him back. I am still scared but the shaking of my body stopped.

"You sleepwalk, but you never told me."

I stared at him. "I think I am, when I was still human."

But my life is different now. I do not dream anymore since Johann changed me. How is this possible? Why is this even happening?
"Do you remember what has happened? I want to know," he demanded and put me on his lap then caressed my cheek.

Who could forget that wingy man?
"I wake up without you in my side so I thought you changed your mind and decided to join the patrol team. The window..."
My eyes searched for it and it's till closed as it is always. "That was opened and a huge bird get in then shifted into a male, a very large and scary male."

The same bird who barged Joreia's balcony the other night but I was not going to tell him that. It is my sole mission.

"A bird that could shift into a human. Shape shifters never bother creatures like us, my wife,"he smiled at me sweetly.

"But it did in my dream and it crept the hell out of me!" I shivered as I remember the man touching my body.

"Tell me more so I'll understand your fear, Lily. Did he want something? What did he tell you?"

My dream was a sign, something terrible will come to me or to Joreia. I could feel real danger.
I closed my eyes and recited what the wingy man has told me,"He chose a very delectable woman. You smell jasmine and strawberry but just tainted with his blood. It does not matter, you'll be mine."

I heard him snarl, his body stiffled and shifted his weight then tightened his hold on me. "Describe him to me. Maybe he has a real face and if I find him, I will drain his blood."

A pure blood vampire has a bad temper, especially when the vampire is also a royal blooded. I really wanted him to kill that crazy parrot. I hate being touched by him, even if it was just in my dream.
"He's about six feet and 5 inches, olive-skinned, has bronzed hair and smells awful and disgusting! His eyes are round, I could not remenber its color."
If the wingy man in my dream was harmless, I might like him. He do looked like an angel at first but turned into a monster later. "He threw me on the wall and picked me up just to put me on our bed after. I hate his fingers above my skin. And I hate him more for dishonoring this bed! This is ours, how dare he came here even in my dream!" I am hysteric again. I could not help it, don't even have a plan to stop hating that crazy parrot.

"You honor our bed, my wife?"Johann asked suddenly. When I looked back on his face, he has this wide grin on his lips.

"Shouldn't I honor what we have, Johann?" I ask back, he smiled more.
"Do not worry about your dream. It will be a dream forever. No one will harm my beloved, no one would dare to do such thing."

Yeah, yeah! He is feared by most creatures. I have not seen him fight, but with his long and wide scars on his back and neck, I would be afraid too. Hell, how many creatures did he kill? How many years did he fight until he's found me?

"How sure are you that the likes of that wingy man do not bother vampires anymore?" I have to know, he mentioned that to me.

"Because I have killed many of his kind over a century ago, wife. The only shape shifter left was Mercury and is very helpful to me. He sends me important news all the time."

He killed many giant birds before? In a war?

And Mercury is one of his enemy!
"The batlike creature with a silvery eyes?"

"Yes. But he is not a bat. He like to shift as a bird, his favorite."
"You trust him that much!" I fumed.

So, does it mean that I saw Mercury in Joreia's balcony? If he was Mercury, then there is no threat at all.

"Do not worry now. But, your fear bothered me so I shall send hunters to make sure there are no wingy men in our territory." His fingers stroked my hair then moved down to my nape. "No other vampire or creature would dare to touch a royal's beloved,"he whispered.

"Even the Sovran?" I said lowly, almost a whisper. Johann feared the Sovran Aevum. What if a Sovran tries to touch me, will he fight him?

He just grin and said," They won't even dare, my wife!"

Hmmm.
"Why?"

"They're afraid of you,"he answered, then winked at me.

"Oh!" Why would a Sovran be afraid of a fragile vampire like me?
"Should I remind you again? Let me, you are the Temptress queen. They won't even want to meet you."

"But the wingy man was not afraid of me!" I insisted. My power could not even scare that bird in my dream.

"Because that was just a dream, wife. The Sovran Aevum already received the news that my soulmate is now the Temptress queen. So, they sent a letter to me a week ago, ordering me to have control over you. They were so afraid, you would take the evil side and took their throne with just one look into their eyes." Then Johann chortled like crazy.

"Be serious, Johann!" I hit his bare chest.

"I am serious." Then he stopped laughing and stared at me for the nth time. "For now, they won't bother us and they won't come here unless there is huge reason to. That's why my soldiers work silently, well obviously to avoid the Sovran."

"Just like that?" I ask, still could not believe that the government highest leaders fear me. It is absolutely flattering!

"Just like that! So, I heard you and Anna Marie are going to use the study room?" He changes the topic so easily, but there's no need to elaborate the Sovran's fear so I answered him.

"Yes. And we'll be very busy first thing in the morning," I smiled, finally fully awake.

"How about your plan to see Algor's Lady Cassandra, hmm?" His inquiry wasn't that sensual, really. But his lips on my bare shoulder made me sensual.

"Uhm, I'm still going tomorrow night." How the hell did Johann do that, waking my flesh and turning it hot, needy and wanting to do more?

"Hmm, tomorrow night. Alone?"he fished, while torturing me with his kisses.

"It is necessary," I whispered.
Johann shifted, his arms on my waist then drops me on bed while his weight on top of me. I did not complain, though I knew what he's planning to do. Why should I complain? I like what he is doing, anyway!
I felt his hands crawl from my thigh to my curve. It was glorious!

"Necessary. How's that, huh?" He continues his interrogation while mercilessly torturing every part of me.

"I do not need company. They might think, I am a threat." Well, atleast my brain is still in her sanity. I meant what I have said.

Johann hissed at that and his fingernails dug on my arm. He isn't going to let me go without escorts. Damn it!

"Algor's territory is just an hour ride from here, you do know that, do you?" I gave him my cutest smile but he did not swallow it. His hand haulted, my skin screamed to continue the torture.

"Lilibeth, an hour is long enough to risk! I do not approve! You, going there without me is denied!"
Now, he's mad! I am so going to regret this, for making him mad in the middle of preparation? For what? Well, I say preparation for love making! Now, his mood just changed.
