Plot summary-
"Everything was fine until the world fell apart." Seventeen-year-old Shai Wilson's life was seemingly perfect until her parents' divorce changed it all. Since then, she has been enduring grueling night shifts, working ten hours a day, doing nothing but schoolwork in-between, while her depressed and secluded mother sits on the couch. Life is looking bleak; this is not how she envisioned herself spending what should have been the best years of her existence.
But in the big city of New York, there are always wayward souls looking for a home. Enter Cameron Hughes, a wannabe artist whose scarred past is only depicted through his paintings.
A chance encounter introduces him to a girl whose world is falling apart inside, whereas his is deteriorating from the outside.
He is begging for an escape.
She is afraid of taking the fall.
What will happen between the two? No one knows.
After all, it's all about the risks we take.
