Uuolf had explained the story of her dragging me behind a village house and me randomly waking up. Water dripped onto my forehead, and when all my senses finally arrived I could feel raindrops dropping roughly onto my skin. Uuolf's hand glided across my cheek, and I could hear her slowly breathing. When I opened my eyes - only a stormy sky was visible - droplets of rain landing into my eyes causing blurriness this occurred over and over again. "Finally. Awake." Uuolf stared down at me, from where I was lying her features were upside down. "Where are we?" Rain landed onto my lips, streaming down my cheeks. Uuolf's crimson gaze was averted - she looked around curiously then lowered her head to watch me sternly again, "No idea."
"You brought me to a random place?"
"That seems to be correct."
I quickly sat up - everything looked fuzzy. Sounded fuzzy. And felt fuzzy. "What's wrong with me?" My voice cracked, letting Uuolf know that I was freaking out.
"You died, Nora. You're lucky to even be awake." I turned around, attempting to face her "I couldn't have woken up?"
"Mm. You put yourself at risk."
"Because you forced me to."
"You're the one who lost the fight, learn to fight better next time, Nora." I had forgotten that she knew my name. I opened my mouth to protest - the first words that would escape from me were going to be about her stupid elf ears. I was too late to say anything. Uuolf stood up, she took a few steps ahead of me. "Come on." I heard her murmur. I slowly shook my head, "Where are we going now?" The elf girl didn't answer she just started walking not even waiting for me to catch up. Where was she going anyway? To me, wherever we were seemed like a village and we were behind one of its houses.I caught up with Uuolf. This girl wasn't friendly at all. Mostly quiet. Didn't care if I was okay or not. She just wanted more elves in this world.
I couldn't lie though - she was very good at magic. How the knife flew back to her with only a small gesture.
"We have to get into one of these houses, Nora."
"Why?"
"It's raining. You're halfway dead, and we're elves out in the open."
