One week later during school.

Lydia ran down the school halls, holding her folder in one hand and she held up her other hand to her head.
As she ran down the halls in an almost maddened craze she ran into someone's back and dropped her folder, spilling the contents on the floor.
She fell to the floor and hurriedly tried to retrieve the lost items. The boy she had run into turned around quickly.

"Lydia? I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" He said.

Lydia looked up to see a very worried (and guilty) looking Luke peering down at her.

"I have to find Scott and Stiles" Lydia puffed, out of breath. "Can you find them?"

"Are you sure you don't want any help here?" Luke asked, glancing down at the papers, pencils and other things scattered on the floor.

"I'm sure. Please just go and find them" Lydia replied, anxious.

Luke ran off down the hallway, to go and find Scott and Stiles. Then disappeared round the corner.

She slowly picked up her things from the floor and shoved them back into her pencil case and all the books into her neatly organised folder.

She pulled herself up into the steps near the locker rooms which were not too far away. And squeezed the folder tightly to her chest.

But the voices screaming, pounding, wailing in her head didn't subside and she sat almost completely still only rocking slowly back and forth.

She knew what was about to happen, but she didn't have the  strength to move before it happened.

But she had to hold it in.

Who knows how much damage a banshee scream would do in the confines of the school.

But the voices were only getting louder and she just hoped, prayed that Luke could find Scott and Stiles before it was too late.

She could feel the scream forming on her lips and the corridors where almost completely empty and Stiles and Scott were no where to be seen.

As she took in a breath, she felt a hand cover her mouth. She exhaled, thankful for the distraction, and turned around to see who it was.

She turned to see a very worried looking Stiles looking down at her, Scott and Luke standing beside him also very worried.

Lydia reached up to Stiles' hand and squeezed it, looking up at him thankfully.

She used his hand to help herself get up and then turned to face them.

"What happened?" Stiles questioned, without hesitation. The worry in his eyes almost heartbreaking.

Just as he spoke the voices surged back into Lydia's head and she stumbled down the step Luke and Scott catching her seconds before she hit the ground.

"Lydia. Are you okay?" Stiles asked, panicking.

"It's the voices" Lydia replied, hardly able to speak.

Scott and Stiles exchanged a worried look, they knew the voices meant death.

"What were they saying?" Scott asked.

Lydia took a large inhale of breath before replying.

"I don't know. I couldn't understand what they were saying" Lydia replied, regretfully.

Scott had announced a pack meeting, and now they were all sitting in various places in Derek's loft, all listening
closely to what their Alpha was saying.
Lydia sat on the floor her brows furrowed in concentration, trying to recall anything that might help them, from what she had heard.

The atmosphere was tense, but their strength in numbers gave them hope.

"The scale is tipping again, who knows what might happen. Things are probably going to get bad again, they always seem to when we are involved. As long as we stick together we will..."

Scott stopped suddenly, and began to look around the huge space, as if searching for something he couldn't find.

Some of the others started to look around, trying to work out what their Alpha was looking for.

"Someone is missing" Scott said.

"Who? Who is it?" Ethan asked.

Lydia looked up at them then, her expression almost blank.

"It's Luke. Luke is missing"
